Combinant sa dalle tactile avec des performances honorables, le Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 se marie finalement bien avec le processeur Lunar Lake d'Intel. Il en résulte un ultraportable convertible qui sait être polyvalent et endurant, sans sacrifier aucun usage, s'accommodant des besoins de bureautique, de consultation et, ponctuellement, de création de contenu.

Le Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 est sans conteste un ordinateur portable impressionnant sur le papier. Il allie puissance brute, fonctionnalités d’IA avancées et design premium. Mais dans un marché ultra-concurrentiel où Apple et ses puces M1/M2/M3 font des merveilles, et où Qualcomm promet monts et merveilles avec ses futurs Snapdragon pour PC, Samsung et Intel ont-ils fait le bon choix ? La réponse dépendra beaucoup de l’utilisation réelle des fonctionnalités d’IA au quotidien et des performances du processeur Intel dans les tâches gourmandes. Une chose est sûre : avec ce Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360, Samsung laisse le choix avec du Qualcomm et de l’Intel. Reste maintenant à connaître le prix qui sera disponible en France courant septembre. À n’en pas douter, il ne sera pas donné.

There's nothing much to fault about the screen, the core design or the performance, and its NPU and connectivity should keep it relevant for years to come. Yet the keyboard and general usability aren't quite at the same level, acting as a drag on the overall experience. If you can get used to the off-kilter position and shallow travel, you'll find a serious productivity machine with epic stamina. If not, you might be left wondering how Samsung got so much right, yet missed something so crucial.

EN→FRWe’ve seen a lot of interesting new ultrabooks released in 2024, and while the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 doesn’t traverse much in the way of new ground, it remains an excellent Windows laptop for those after a Windows-based alternative to a MacBook Pro with an OLED touchscreen and convertible powers. To all intents and purposes, it looks like a MacBook Pro with an aluminium frame and reasonably similar input selection, while its large 16-inch AMOLED panel comes with deep blacks, a responsive touchscreen and seriously accurate colours. In addition, its Intel Lunar Lake chip is also rather beefy, and its recorded battery life is exceptionally close to Apple’s own claims.

And it’s also very well-built, and it gets great battery life. There’s a lot to like here. But when you buy such a large laptop, you tend to want more performance. The Galaxy Book5 is fast enough as long as you’re doing typical productivity tasks. But it’s not the gaming and creator’s laptop that many larger machines represent. And the keyboard is really disappointing. For those that really like the idea of a large-format laptop that is still easy to pack around, however, the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 delivers just enough value to make it worthy of recommendation.

I just wish the keyboard was a little more comfortable, with some more key travel and a tweaked layout. Still, for many people, this machine is exactly what the doctor ordered: A traditional Intel-powered laptop that can run x86 software with no compatibility concerns, incredibly long battery life, and even more graphics horsepower than you might expect.

Switching to Lunar Lake power has also graced the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 with considerably better battery life, while also upping its AI and graphics muscle. However, it doesn’t make any effort to fix the flaws of the previous generation. There’s still nowhere to properly stow the S Pen while on the move, and the keyboard will absolutely divide opinion. Samsung’s software suite might be extensive, but a lot of it will be lost on you if you don’t own a Galaxy smartphone, and desktop performance hasn’t really improved enough to justify an upgrade from the previous generation.

While we don’t expect much to change with the US model of the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 compared to the global configuration sent to Laptop Mag, many of our performance benchmarks are impacted by memory capacity and RAM speed. The general and gaming performance seems solid, but lower memory capacity can impact performance across the board, so until we get those final benchmarks in, this will remain our hands-on impressions of the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360.

This 16-inch laptop can happily handle photo and video editing, as well as some light gaming. AAA games like Indiana Jones certainly aren't happy, but older or less demanding titles are handled well by the Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro. Sure, this slender laptop doesn't exactly count as ultraportable as it's 16 inches, but the portability is enhanced by that excellent battery life. The Samsung Book 5 Pro is just as good as the 360 model in that department, so you can play all day on a single charge. Although recharging isn't as great.

Il s'agit du successeur direct de l'iGPU Arc 7 ; il dispose de 7 cœurs d'architecture Xe² fonctionnant jusqu'à 1 850 MHz et de 7 unités de ray tracing. Nous nous attendons à ce que le 130V soit à peu près aussi rapide que la Radeon 780M pour des taux d'images jouables dans la plupart des jeux 2023 et certains jeux 2024 en 1080p avec des paramètres graphiques bas.
