Perturbateur du marché. Huawei veut prouver qu’il n’y a pas besoin de dépenser 1 500 € ou plus pour un XPS 13 honnêtement équipé, ou un MacBook Pro. Le MateBook X Pro cherche à faire aussi bien que ces leaders, avec un design élégant et fin en aluminium, un écran tactile 3:2, une carte graphique dédiée Nvidia, le Thunderbolt 3, et un CPU de la classe U d’Intel, pour un prix moins élevé que la concurrence.

Near edge to edge 3K display is unseen and especially on its close to 14” frame. It’s great for viewing content or getting some work done. Its lightweight and is qualified to give you impressive battery life pushing around 15 hours on a good day. Webcam isn’t all that great and is hidden and can stay there. For what it’s worth you expect this laptop to be hefty on the price tag but for what you are getting its in a nice ballpark figure. The Core i5 version runs for $1,199 while the Core i7 will cost you $300 more at $1,499. Funny thing is depending where you look either model is usually out of stock as they flip in and out of inventory. MateBook X Pro is at the top of the Ultrabook pile and its for good reason.

It’s a novel idea that certainly eliminates any need for a Post-it to cover the camera, but it also means that whoever you’re chatting with will get a good look up your nose much like the XPS 13. And God help you if you have to type something while using the webcam, because your friend will just get a close-up look at your fingernails. I sincerely hope you get a manicure before using this webcam.

Huawei's MateBook X Pro is a wonderful laptop, just as it was last year. I can say that because there are minimal changes. Last year's model had eighth-generation Intel Core processors from the Kaby Lake family, and this year's has eighth-generation Intel Core processors from the Whiskey Lake family. Last year's had an Nvidia GeForce MX150 with 2GB GDDDR5, and this year's has a GeForce MX250 with 2GB GDDR5.

There's a lot to like about Huawei's 2019 MateBook X Pro, even if I'm not sure this laptop needed to exist. Sure, the company wanted to keep its premium machine updated with the latest and greatest silicon, but the payoff hasn't been huge. That shouldn't dim, however, the shine on one of the best laptops of 2018 receiving a little spit-and-polish for 2019. You can't criticize a company for doing well and then not choosing to reinvent the wheel.

Ce MateBook X a de très bons comme de très mauvais côtés. Il est fin et léger, ce qui est tout ce qu'on peut attendre d'un tel appareil. Il est bien fini aussi, et devrait sans trop de mal résister assez bien aux affres du temps. Son écran est très bien même si nous avons toujours des réserves sur l'utilisation du tactile sur de tels ultraportables. Le confort d'utilisation est bon et comme il n'y a aucun bruit de ventilateur... on adore !

I really wanted this to be $600 to -$800 cheaper, I believe that will triple their potential buyers market and give the option to steal some Macbook users over to their platform. That’s really the only barrier for purchase that I can come up with, so if you’re happy with the price then buy one. If that is a barrier for you purchasing, there are plenty of very good options out there for between $1800 – $2600 where you’ll get an exceptionally good laptop still.

Avec son Matebook Pro X, Huawei joue clairement dans la cour des grands. C’est un PC aussi beau qu’efficace, qui séduit avant tout grâce à son superbe écran et le confort général d’utilisation. Il n’a pas à rougir face aux machines dont il s’inspire sans conteste : les MacBook Pro, d’Apple. Huawei a donc produit une excellente copie, au sens propre comme au figuré. Huawei Matebook X Pro (2021) Review – Great For Work And A Little Bit Of Play

I had a good time with the HUAWEI MateBook X Pro. It has a beautiful design, premium build, amazing screen, decent battery life as well as good audio. However, there are some issues with the HUAWEI MateBook X Pro. Some of these issues are those mentioned before such as the awkward webcam placement, the slight lack of connectivity ports, the thermal issues and the wonky trackpad. The trackpad on the MateBook X Pro is really not good to the point where I resorted to using a mouse due to the sheer frustrations it gave me. Regardless of these shortcomings, I still think that the HUAWEI MateBook X Pro is perfect for those looking for a great work companion as well as looking great while using it. The screen is an absolute beaut and the touchscreen will prove useful during presentations. It is also great for one or two Netflix binge sessions and the speakers work pretty well. Also, it can handle some gaming as well albeit at a limited capacity.

Huawei:
Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.
NVIDIA GeForce MX150:
Carte graphique pour portables basée sur la puce Pascal GP108, et version mobile de la GeForce GT 1030 de bureau. Possède 384 nuanceurs et généralement 2 Go de GDDR5 avec un bus mémoire de 64 bits. Fabriquée en 14 nm.
NVIDIA GeForce MX250:
Le successeur de la MX150, toujours basée sur la même puce Pascal GP108 (similaire à la GT 1030 pour PC de bureau), mais avec des fréquences plus élevées. Disponible en deux versions, une version normale à 25W et une version basse consommation avec une enveloppe thermique de 10 W et des performances réduites. La version 25 W offre par exemple un gain de boost de 21 % par rapport à l'ancienne MX150, conduisant à un gain de performances de 5 %.
Intel UHD Graphics 620:
GPU intégré (GT2, 24 unités de calcul) que l'on trouve sur certains processeurs Kaby Lake Refresh (série ULV 15 W). Techniquement identique à la carte graphique Kaby Lake précédente, la HD Graphics 620.
Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs:
Carte graphique intégrée dans les SoCs Intel Tiger Lake G4 basés sur la nouvelle architecture Gen. 12 avec 96 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). La fréquence d'horloge dépend du modèle de processeur. Les puces Tiger Lake sont produites dans le processus moderne 10nm+ chez Intel.

Processeur quatre cœurs ULV Kaby Lake Refresh. Les quatre cœurs ont une fréquence comprise entre 1,6 et 3,4 GHz (Turbo Boost), et supporte l'hyper-threading. Le GPU intégré a une fréquence comprise entre 300 et 1 100 MHz. Le SoC est fabriqué grâce à un process 14nm+ FinFET.
i5-8550U:
Processeur quatre cœur Kaby Lake Refresh basse consommation. Les quatre cœurs sont cadencés entre 1,8 et 4 GHz (Turbo Boost), et supportent l'hyper-threading. Le GPU intégré est cadencé entre 300 et 1 150 MHz. Le SoC est fabriqué grâce à un procédé en 14 nm+ FinFET.

Processeur quadricur Whiskey Lake basse consommatoin (techniquement identique aux processeur Kaby Lake mais gravé grâce à un procédé 14 nm++ amélioré). Les quatre curs sont cadencés entre 1,8 et 4,6 GHz (Turbo Boost) et prennent en charge l'HyperThreading.
Intel Comet Lake:
i5-10210U:
Processeur Comet Lake quadricur basse consommation (techniquement identique à Whiskey Lake et toujours produit en 14 nm++). Les curs peuvent monter entre 1,6 et 4,2 GHz (3,9 GHz avec les 4 curs), avec Hyperthreading (8 threads). Le contrôleur mémoire intégré prend en charge le DDR4-2666 et en utilisant le cTDP à la hausse ou à la baisse, les performances peuvent être ajustées par le fabricant (15 W par défaut, 10 à 25 W possibles). Par rapport au i5-10510U plus puissant, le cache de niveau 3 a été réduit de 8 à 6 Mo.
Intel Tiger Lake:
i7-1165G7:
Processeur quadricœur à faible puissance basé sur Tiger Lake pour les ordinateurs portables minces et légers. Les quatre cœurs tournent autour de 2,8 - 4,7 GHz. Produit en 10nm+ chez Intel.
