Avec la KFA2 GeForce RTX 3070 Ti SG, nous avons soumis une carte graphique de bureau déjà un peu poussiéreuse de la génération Ampère à notre parcours de test. Vous pouvez découvrir les performances de ce modèle par rapport à ses concurrents plus jeunes, mais plus chers, dans cette courte revue.

Si vous êtes à la recherche d'une nouvelle carte graphique, vous devez savoir que Nvidia et AMD n'ont présenté jusqu'à présent que les modèles haut de gamme des nouvelles générations. Ces derniers sont actuellement vendus bien au-delà de 1 000 euros et sont donc tout simplement trop chers pour beaucoup. En tant que modèle de milieu de gamme, si l'on peut l'appeler ainsi, la Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti devrait suivre au début de l'année prochaine. Mais ce modèle dépassera probablement lui aussi la barre des 1 000 euros... (Note : l'article original a été publié fin 2022, avant la sortie de la RTX 4070 Ti).

Les nouvelles cartes graphiques sont rapides et offrent une portion décente de performances supplémentaires par rapport à la génération précédente. Néanmoins, les modèles Ampere et RDNA2 ne sont pas dépassés et peuvent encore être intéressants, notamment en termes de prix, puisque les modèles GeForce RTX 3070 Ti sont déjà disponibles pour 670 Euros à l'achat. Le modèle KFA2 utilisé dans cette revue est représentatif de tous les modèles GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, qui ne diffèrent pas beaucoup en termes de performances. Un grand merci à Igor'sLAB, qui nous a fourni ce modèle pour l'évaluation.

Le KFA2 GeForce RTX 3070 Ti SG s'écarte visuellement du design de référence de Nvidia et aussi l'alimentation s'appuie sur les connecteurs 6+2 broches qui ont fait leurs preuves et se passe du connecteur 12 broches. Avec un peu moins de 33 centimètres, le modèle de KFA2 est très long et ne rentre pas dans tous les boîtiers. La consommation électrique de la carte graphique est de 290 watts et il y a 1x HDMI (2.1) et 3x DisplayPort (1.4a) en externe.

Bancs d'essai synthétiques et performances de calcul

Les benchmarks synthétiques montrent clairement que la GeForce RTX 3070 Ti a de plus en plus de mal à concurrencer les modèles actuels. Cependant, notre échantillon de test n'est pas complètement seul dans ce cas, puisque AMD ne peut pas suivre les cartes graphiques les plus récentes avec ses modèles RX 6800 et RX 6700. Au final, la KFA2 GeForce RTX 3070 Ti SG se mesure à la AMD Radeon RX 6800 et la AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT. UneNvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Tique nous avons testée il y a quelques jours dans la version TUF d'Asus, est environ 26 % plus rapide. La GeForce RTX 3070 Ti est très bien adaptée à l'édition d'images, comme le montre le test de référence avec Affinity Photo 2. Ici, la nouvelleRX 7900 est clairement battue. Une image similaire se dessine dans les benchmarks d'Adobe. AMD ne peut suivre le milieu de gamme de Nvidia qu'avec ses modèles haut de gamme actuels, ici aussi.

Bancs d'essai de jeux

Dans le test pratique avec de nombreux jeux testés, la KFA2 GeForce RTX 3070 Ti SG se comporte assez bien et s'avère être un choix solide pour les jeux en 1440p. La carte graphique maîtrise également les jeux plus anciens en 2160p. Néanmoins, la capacité de VRAM de seulement 8 Go est un point de friction dans les jeux plus récents. Le siteAMD Radeon RX 6700 XTmaîtrise très bien notre échantillon de test et même les performances d'une AMD Radeon RX 6800peuvent être surpassées dans certains jeux. Avec les fonctions de ray tracing activées, l'écart entre les deux concurrents directs se creuse encore un peu plus. Ici, AMD a une génération de retard, ce qui est également vrai au vu de la bataille actuelle entre AMD Radeon RX 7900 et Nvidia GeForce RTX 4000.

Émissions de la KFA2 GeForce RTX 3070 Ti SG

Nvidia spécifie une consommation d'énergie maximale de 290 watts pour la GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. KFA2 ne fait pas exception et respecte cette spécification avec le modèle que nous avons testé. Dans le test, cela se traduit par une consommation électrique totale du système de 472 watts dans le test de stress. Le même système basé sur les nouvelles cartes graphiques RDNA 3 nécessite un peu plus avec 513 watts. Nous avons mesuré une consommation similaire de 453 watts en mode jeu.

Les températures n'atteignent à aucun moment des plages critiques, ce qui nous aurait surpris en raison du grand refroidisseur. Le refroidisseur, qui est équipé de trois ventilateurs axiaux, parvient à maintenir la puce graphique à un peu moins de 76 °C. La VRAM n'est que légèrement plus chaude, à 84 °C. Avec un peu plus de 2200 tours par minute, les ventilateurs produisent un bruit audible en charge. Pendant le test de stress, le niveau de pression sonore est de 44,8 dB(A) lorsque le boîtier est ouvert, bien que l'écran affiche environ plus de 43 dB(A) pendant le jeu. Grâce au mode fan-stop, les ventilateurs restent immobiles sans charge.

Avec la KFA2 GeForce RTX 3070 Ti SG, nous avons examiné de plus près une carte graphique encore actuelle de la dernière génération de Nvidia. Bien sûr, les performances ne peuvent pas rivaliser avec les modèles haut de gamme d'aujourd'hui, ce qui n'est pas du tout le but recherché. Néanmoins, les performances de la GeForce RTX 3070 Ti sont toujours d'un bon niveau, même si la carte graphique a vu le jour il y a plus d'un an. Ainsi, les utilisateurs qui ne veulent pas dépenser beaucoup d'argent dans des modèles haut de gamme coûteux devront acheter la génération précédente. Au vu de la configuration de la VRAM, l'avenir n'est cependant pas assuré. Seuls 8 Go de VRAM posent souvent problème et en cas de capacité de mémoire insuffisante, les taux de trame chutent considérablement. Toutefois, il est possible d'utiliser DLSS ou FSR pour contrer ce phénomène et d'obtenir des taux de trame jouables ici aussi. Si vous ne souhaitez pas utiliser les fonctions d'upscaling, vous devriez utiliser la Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti principalement pour les jeux en 1 080p ou 1 440p. Cette carte graphique atteint systématiquement de bons taux de trame et est souvent plus rapide qu'une AMD Radeon RX 6800, qui est équipée de 16 Go de VRAM.

Les fonctions de ray tracing peuvent être utilisées si vous vous contentez ici du Full HD. Nvidia a le plus grand avantage sur AMD ici et l'avantage de performance par rapport à l'AMD Radeon RX 6800 se développe un peu.

Le KFA2 GeForce RTX 3070 Ti SG offre encore beaucoup de performance pour jouer à des jeux exigeants.

Le modèle de KFA2 utilisé ici dans le test ne diffère pas seulement optiquement de la Founders Edition. L'horloge boost est plus élevée avec jusqu'à 1 800 MHz et peut également être portée à 1 815 MHz via la fonction 1-Click. Cependant, les changements n'étaient pas mesurables lors du test, ce qui signifie que nous considérons cette fonction comme du pur marketing. De plus, le boost maximal est généralement dépassé de toute façon. Le refroidisseur installé est bon et refroidit la carte graphique de manière fiable. Visuellement, il y a beaucoup d'éclairage RGB, ce qui rend la carte graphique particulièrement adaptée à une utilisation dans un boîtier avec une fenêtre de visualisation. La carte graphique est discrètement audible sous charge. La KFA2 GeForce RTX 3070 Ti SG maîtrise le fonctionnement en 2D de manière totalement silencieuse grâce au mode fan-stop.
