Le MSI Aegis 3 8RD est un PC de jeu compact qui coûte entre 1 500 et 1 600 $, au moment de notre test. Il est équipé d’un processeur puissant hexacœur, et d’une carte graphique tout à fait honnête. Pour faire bref, l’Aegis 3 8RD peut faire tourner tous les jeux triple A récents fluidement, au niveau de détails le plus élevé.

Le Core i7-8700, lancé en fin d'année dernière, n’est pas le dernier processeur d’Intel. Mais il est efficient, et possède un bon rapport qualité - prix. Il en va de même pour la carte graphique Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070, mais une AMD Rade RX Vega 56 aurait permis de réduire un peu plus la consommation durant le jeu.

Le MSI Aegis 3 8RD est un PC de jeu de bureau compact, qui gère facilement tous les jeux triple A récents. La machine possède un refroidissement efficace, qui permet à l’appareil d’éviter tout throttling thermique, même quand il est poussé dans ses retranchements. Les clients ne pourront faire d’erreur en choisissant l’Aegis 3 8RD au lieu de se construire eux-mêmes une machine. En bref, le MSI Aegis 3 8RD est idéal comme machine secondaire pour des parties LAN, ou comme PC de jeu à demeure.

Le châssis de l’Aegis 3 8RD est relativement compact, à 19,6 litres, et il est décoré d’éclairage RVB - qui peut être désactivé pour ceux que cela distrairait, ou qui trouveraient cela trop gadget. Nous aurions préféré une allure plus premium, les surfaces en plastique paraissant bon marché pour une machine à 1 500 - 1 600 $.

Le châssis n’en est pour autant pas mauvais. Les poignées de transport et pour casque sont pratique, tandis que le plastique évite à l’appareil de dépasser les 10 kg, ce qui le rend assez facile à transporter entre deux parties réseaux.

La machine possède cinq baies et 1,2 To de stockage, ce qui devrait suffire pour la plupart des utilisateurs. Il y a des emplacements 2,5 et 3,5 pouces précâblés, qui permettent d’intégrer des disques supplémentaires sans avoir à reformater l’appareil.
