Avec la GeForce GTX 1070 Ti, Nvidia comble le fossé entre la GTX 1070 et la GTX 1080, tout en proposant une alternative à la Radeon Vega 56. Au niveau de l’efficience, la GTX 1070 Ti est plus proche de la GTX 1080 que de la GTX 1070. Comme les cartes tierces ne peuvent être overclockées que grâce à des logiciels ou manuellement, la Founders Edition ne souffre d’aucun désavantage de performances. Néanmoins les cartes des partenaires de Nvidia sont légèrement plus efficientes et un peu plus silencieuses. Le prix recommandé de 469 € en Allemagne peut être attribué au coût élevé des GPU Vega 56, vendus bien plus chers que le prix suggéré du fabricant (à cause du mining).

Dans l’ensemble, nous pouvons dire que la GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Founders Edition est une carte graphique de bureau réussie, particulièrement adaptée aux jeux à 1440p.
