Prise en main du Realme 10: Équilibrement équilibré

Malgré son prix apparemment avantageux de 279 euros, le Realme 10 n'a pas la vie facile. Car la concurrence est rude. On peut citer le Redmi Note 11 Pro dont le rapport qualité/prix est excellent et qui est actuellement le meilleur choix dans notre sélection des meilleurs smartphones à moins de 300 euros. Le Samsung Galaxy A53 entre certes aussi dans cette catégorie, mais il est nettement plus cher. Ce que je vous ai effrontément caché dans cette prise en main, c'est le fait que le Helio G99 ne prend pas du tout en charge la 5G. C'est un peu incompréhensible étant donné qu'un Realme 10 5G a été présenté le même jour en Chine. Dans tous les cas, je ne peux pas vous donner de conseil d'achat pour l'instant puisque le smartphone n'est pas encore commercialisé en France. Mais à moins de 300 euros, le Realme 10 propose un rapport fiche technique/prix tout à fait intéressant et surtout équilibré.

To summarize this review, Realme 10 offers an excellent all-around experience for a starting price of INR 13,999. If you compare it with the last-gen Realme 9, it feels like a boring successor. But if you think about it this “Don’t fix it if it’s not broken” approach is actually what makes this stand out in the market. Competitions like the new Redmi Note and Galaxy A series have gone big on 5G hype which has shot the price up. Up until last year, we used to compare Realme’s number series with Redmi’s Note but the price difference is too high this year it does not make sense anymore. So, if you are looking for a good reliable budget phone and don’t really care about 5G, Realme 10 is the way to go. It does have its shortcoming, say the camera, but there are not many brands in the sub 15K segment for competition. Realme 10 fixes the biggest drawback of its predecessor — performance. That aside, there is hardly anything new on Realme's latest budget phone. While this "Don't fix it if it's not broken" approach doesn't sound that exciting, but it helps keep the price down. So, if you are looking for a good all-around smartphone in a budget and wouldn't care about 5G connectivity, Realme 10 is for you.

The Realme 10 4G looks like a value-for-money deal as it brings all of the essential features that are expected in the first place. However, the same thing doesn’t apply to the Realme 10 5G because you will notice that the company downgraded the display section. Overall, the Realme 10 5G is an affordable version of the Realme 10 Pro+. On the other hand, the Realme 10 is a more attractive option than its 5G counterpart. The phone has a good AMOLED screen, a good battery life, good camera results, good audio output, a 3.5 mm jack, and other features. We recommend you go with this phone if you are not planning to change your phone for a few years. As for alternative options, you can check out Realme 9. The rear panel of both phone houses two large circular cutouts for the cameras. Of course, this is just our initial impression based on the available ambient lighting at the time, so we should have a more definitive answer when we test both these phones at length. Lastly, the Realme 10 Pro series runs on the Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 software, out of the box. The new custom skin gets a new design, including a revamped control centre, textured icons with vibrant colours, and an improved Always-on Display (AoD). The new update also comes with Realme's Dynamic Computing Engine, which claims to offer the perfect balance between high performance and low power consumption. We will be testing the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G and the Realme 10 Pro 5G thoroughly to see if the devices do justice to their respective price tags and the claims made by the company. The realme 10 8GB + 128GB is priced at PHP 12,999, while the 8GB + 256GB is at PHP 14,999. It is priced lower than the realme 9 6GB + 128GB at PHP 14,999 at launch. At this point, we can see how realme is positioning the realme 10. It may have to tone down its camera specs but it now has a better chipset and bigger RAM and storage. If you have a realme 9, there’s no reason to upgrade for now. From this perspective, the realme 10 seems like a refresh than a real upgrade. But for those who are buying a nice mid-ranger for under PHP 15K from the brand, the realme 10 is a good option.
