Le Redmi Note 14 Pro+ est un excellent choix pour son prix, avec un design soigné, une construction robuste et un écran qui rivalise avec des modèles bien plus chers. Xiaomi a conservé la caméra principale de 200 MP, qui impressionne par son niveau de détail et ses couleurs naturelles, même si la plage dynamique pourrait être améliorée. L’expérience logicielle est fluide avec HyperOS 1.0, et la charge rapide de 120 W permet de faire le plein en un rien de temps. Mais soyons honnêtes : ce modèle n’apporte pas de réelle révolution par rapport à son prédécesseur. L’autonomie est correcte sans être exceptionnelle, et la concurrence est féroce dans cette gamme de prix. Le Poco X7 Pro, par exemple, l’éclipse sur les performances avec un processeur plus puissant, bien qu’il sacrifie un peu la qualité photo. En clair, le Redmi Note 14 Pro+ est un smartphone bien équilibré, mais si vous cherchez la puissance brute, vous pourriez trouver mieux ailleurs.

Pour autant, cela reste un excellent smartphone de milieu de gamme. Vendu au même prix que le 13 Pro+ l’an dernier, ce nouveau modèle a le bon goût d’offrir une année de mises à jour supplémentaire. On reste néanmoins un peu sur notre faim du côté des performances, qui progressent peu par rapport à l’an dernier. De même, la prestation photo est peu ou prou identique au 13 Pro+ de 2024. En résumé : pas de quoi déclencher une upgrade si vous êtes déjà bien équipé, mais un smartphone intéressant si le vôtre a déjà quelques années au compteur.

Est-ce que je vous recommanderais d'acheter le Redmi Note 14 Pro+ de Xiaomi? Oui, probablement, s'il n'y avait pas un modèle précédent presque aussi bon, qui est actuellement disponible pour environ 300 euros. En décembre, il est même passé sous la barre des 250 euros, alors gardez un œil sur les offres. En ce qui concerne l'impression générale, je suis un peu perplexe: l'appareil est vraiment beau, l'écran est toujours aussi bon et maintenant encore plus lumineux. Le SoC et l'appareil photo stagnent, mais à un niveau correct, tandis que la batterie a augmenté et se charge très rapidement. HyperOS apporte de nouvelles fonctions d'intelligence artificielle, mais là aussi, il y a peu de choses.

An outdated version of Android and refusal to cut down on the bloatware just doesn’t cut it in 2025. The brighter shining OLED screen is welcome, but you don’t have to look too far for more a well-rounded alternative: the OnePlus Nord 4 and Nothing Phone 2a Plus can be had for the same money, while a Google Pixel 8a isn’t that much more.

La plupart des jeux pas trop demandants actuels peuvent tourner de façon fluide. soyez prêts à endurer un rendu graphique assez moche à cause de la basse résolution et des détails au minimum. Par ailleurs ces cartes sont suffisantes pour un travail de bureau et le visionnage de vidéos (pas évident pour la vidéo HD).
