Critiques pour le/la Xiaomi Redmi Note 10T 5G

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10T smartphone was designed with next-generation phones in mind. Since the 5G band is coming into the future, the company will likely monopolize the T-series to provide an affordable 5g handset. But at the same time, the device looks a bit gimmick, and it’s not worth your time if you switch phones in two or three years because, in that case, the Redmi Note 10 sounds too much in contrast. At the stage of the Indian smartphone market, the Redmi Note 10T smartphone is a decent 5g smartphone at an affordable price, but 5G technology will take some time to expand its roots in India. If you’re looking for an alternative option, the Realme Q3 series is a great phone that comes with great features and hardware.

Since many budget smartphones fall short in some areas, your decision to invest in a budget 5G smartphone will mainly depend on the brand you choose and the software you prefer. The Redmi Note 10T 5G, Realme Narzo 30 5G (Review) and Poco M3 Pro 5G (Review) all feature similar hardware at similar prices. If 5G is a must-have for your next smartphone upgrade, then take your pick between these three. Do keep in mind that the Redmi 10T 5G's camera performance is a bit below average, and its price is a bit higher at Rs. 14,499. The Poco M3 Pro 5G sells for a slightly lower price of Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. If you are alright with a 4G smartphone, then there's plenty of choice with much better hardware and features such as Super AMOLED displays, stereo speakers, better build quality, dust and water protection, and faster charging, most notably from Xiaomi's own stable of 4G Redmi Note 10 devices.

The Redmi Note 10T 5G packs all the perks in its segment, from its mind-boggling performance to its battery life, plus its lightweight design, 5G support, and a 90 Hz display adds to its overall features. It would have been great if Xiaomi had added an AMOLED display, otherwise, it’s a great buy especially for performance users, the Redmi Note 10T ticks all the boxes in this price range.

if you take 5G out of the equation, the Redmi Note 10T faces a very tough challenge from the Redmi Note 10S, which for a slightly higher starting price (Rs 14,999 for 6GB / 64GB) brings a more gamer-friendly Helio G95 chip, a better 64-megapixel camera (and an actually usable 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor too), a similar-sized but much faster charging battery (courtesy of a 33W charger), stereo speakers and of course, a bright Super AMOLED display, albeit at a “normal” refresh rate. Of course, it does not have 5G. And at the end of the day, that is really what the latest new Note is about – the network of the future. At its price, it is perhaps the best affordable 5G smartphone out there.

The Redmi Note 10T 5G doesn’t excel in any particular field but gets the job done well enough. The build quality is great, and so is the display. The battery backup is good as well. While the camera isn’t the best, it’s hard to find faults at such a tight price point. The device ends up being a good recommendation if you’re in the market for a 5G ready phone. However, if 5G isn’t a must-have for you, then the Redmi Note 10 should be a great choice owing to its Value-For-Money factor. Otherwise, you can also look for the Redmi Note 10 Pro or Pro Max if you want a good all-rounder under Rs. 20,000.

With pricing and features that are identical to those of the Poco M3 Pro 5G (Review) and the Realme Narzo 30 5G (Review), there is no single feature that stands out to separate the Redmi Note 10T 5G from the competition. It will all come down to the software, battery life, camera performance, and overall usage experience, which we will explore in our full review. To complicate matters, Xiaomi's own lineup of 4G Redmi Note smartphones offers better features. So, if you have already invested in a 4G Redmi Note 10 device, don't fret, as the only upgrade with this 5G Redmi is its Dimensity 700 processor and of course, 5G compatibility. We will be putting Redmi Note 10T 5G through its paces, which should help us determine whether it's a worthy 5G budget smartphone for those who are looking out for one. So, stay tuned to our full review, which should be out soon.

ARM Mali-G57 MP2:
