Xiaomi has created a compelling phone in the Mi 11. It has the right price and the right specs to compete with the current crop of flagships in the market. There are just a few things holding it back from true greatness. The design and manufacturing are top-notch. It’s a pretty phone that looks as good as it performs. Highlights include the gorgeous screen, the stellar sound, and the sheer power of the Snapdragon 888. The Xiaomi MI 11 is a performant beast and an excellent companion when it comes to binging movies or campaigning your favorite games. Battery life is also solid, though it takes a hit when you push the phone to its limits. If there’s anything holding the phone back from greatness, it’s the camera. The Mi 11’s camera performs very well, but it stops short of excellence. In the competitive flagship space, excellence is a must. MIUI 12.5 is another chink in the phone’s armor. It’s also a shame that there’s no IP rating. The Xiaomi Mi 11 is available for €749 in selected European markets. At that price, it’s got some swagger as it enters the flagship race.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 was an intriguing device at launch priced at €749/£749 (and around $699 via import to the US), and has only grown more so due to periodic price drops. We expect this trend to continue once the recently-announced Xiaomi 12 series hits the global market. While still a solid phone especially when found on sale, you may want to wait until the Xiaomi 12 releases globally to properly evaluate whether the Mi 11 is worth buying today. Furthermore, other devices like Google’s Pixel 6 and Samsung’s recently launched Galaxy S21 FE arguably fix the weaknesses of the Mi 11 with their IP ratings and better camera systems. As we mentioned in our original review, Xiaomi delivered on a sub-flagship experience at a competitive price, but not without cutting a few corners in some key areas. As such, the camera and long-term software support are still the weak points of this otherwise competitive device. If you’re willing to look past these weaker areas of the phone, you’ll be pleased with the Mi 11’s stunning design, display, and performance.

Our Xiaomi Mi 11 review finds an impressive phone, with very few omissions. It would have been nice to have a telephoto camera on the back instead of the telemacro lens, and a bigger battery would have been welcome, too. But even without those features, this phone still comes with premium capabilities comparable to more expensive phones. We have little hesitation in recommending this to an Android fan looking for an alternative to Samsung, particularly if you prioritize streaming videos or playing games over capturing photos. However photography addicts, and especially U.S. shoppers, should look elsewhere for the time being.

It’s pretty obvious, but the Xiaomi Mi 11 is (almost) the complete package, and yet another reminder that there’s absolutely no need to spend excruciating sums on the latest Apple or Samsung handset. The Xiaomi Mi 11 is one of the best premium phones you should consider buying, as it’s well-specced in almost every department: it has super-fast processing, a high screen resolution with extra display modes, and some camera modes and features the competition lacks. Okay, as evident from the review, our time with the Xiaomi Mi 11 has been terrific. The company has effectively nailed the basics for a true flagship experience. The only thing that’s somewhat bugged us is the unpolished software experience. Plus, I am a little let down by the fact that the Mi 11 didn’t launch in as many markets as it should have. Maybe it’s because of the global chipset shortage or Xiaomi’s strategy of pushing the sales of Mi 11 Ultra… I am not quite sure. Regardless, looking at the bigger picture, the future of Xiaomi flagships looks promising, and I can’t wait to see what the Mi 12 has in store for us.

Xiaomi Mi 11 can certainly be liked for the quality of photos and videos, as well as for the possibility of using 5G or Dual SIM. The MIUI interface can also be classified as one of the positive sides of the device ... and what was missing? The same as in several other flagships that I have tested recently. I am talking about the possibility of expanding the memory and the minijack. The Mi 11 is not fully waterproof yet, but we have a functional, universal remote control, which we will probably not find from any other manufacturer. I think that by choosing Xiaomi Mi 11 you will not be disappointed. Unless you are targeting the absolute top shelf...

The Xiaomi Mi 11 has some ultra-premium specs, such as its QHD+ AMOLED display. Problems with optimization result in very poor autonomy, however, meaning that users can rely on it to last only a day and a half with moderate use. But the device makes good use of an efficient 55W charger and has excellent 50W wireless charging as well.

But if you want the smoothest device ever to be long-term reviewed, which incidentally is also the fastest if you want the best feeling phone to use, then so far, this is it. All of this is true regardless of its current pricing, and when you factor that in it may become a better or worse value for you depending on what your priorities are. From where we're standing, though, it's very easy to recommend the Mi 11, even today, many months after its initial release, to everyone but the people who absolutely need things from it that it simply can't deliver - the best cameras, the best battery life, the best fingerprint sensor, the best track record when it comes to timely updates, the least bloated Android skin, and so on. Because aside from these shortcomings, in all the other areas that matter, the Mi 11 is outstanding.

While still not quite a frontrunner, the Xiaomi Mi 11’s display performance was markedly better in nearly every category than the Mi 10 Ultra that preceded it. Improvements were particularly noticeable in video and control of artifacts, although it also advanced for readability, color, and motion as well. However, the Mi 11 took a step backward in terms of touch smoothness and accuracy, which some gamers might find a bit off-putting (even though they will likely be happy with the Mi 11’s excellent control of aliasing). That said, however, switching to a 120 Hz refresh setting can improve the device’s touch smoothness.

If this phone supported US networks, I would probably daily driver this until the Mi 11 Ultra or Mi 12 comes out. I like it so much I’ll put up with the lack of US cellular bands. I can get a connection to the T-Mobile network, but most of the time it's on 3G and has almost unusable speeds. It only gets LTE occasionally for me, and there's no US 5G support at all. If you're in a city, it might work a little better, but you should just buy a phone designed to work on US mobile networks. At $750 (£649.00), I think this phone is a pretty great value. It's still expensive compared to some other Xiaomi devices, but it's probably the best value of the current Snapdragon 888 phones. Despite the ads in the system and weird telemacro camera, I'd still recommend the Mi 11 to anyone in Europe or Asia looking for the latest mobile hardware without breaking the bank.

In light of how well the Xiaomi Mi 10S and Mi 10 Pro performed in our audio testing, the results delivered by the Xiaomi Mi 11 were puzzling. Points that had been strengths on the 10 line devices, such as timbre in both playback and recording, were less so in the Mi 11. That said, the device was overall better than average and at least functional across our use case scenarios. On playback, the device had very few noticeable artifacts, good wideness from the Harman Kardon-tuned speakers, accurate bass precision (even without much bass to work with), and correct treble and high-end extension.

So, if you want a fast, affordable device that’s also great for watching shows, the Xiaomi Mi 11 seems like a no-brainer choice if that’s all you’re willing to fork out for. We’d suggest running about with a power bank, too, to get the most out of the phone’s overwhelming speeds. It’s also currently one of the most affordable phones with Snapdragon 888 now, so that’s one more reason to consider getting a Mi 11 over other better polished Android flagship alternatives.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 is capable of capturing a decent selfie in the right conditions, and thanks to a wide depth of field, is a good option for group selfies. However, exposure issues in more difficult scenes mean it’s best suited for occasional selfie shooters who rely more on the phone’s very good main camera. The Mi 11 front camera does better for videos than for stills, but better alternatives overall are available in the Xiaomi’s price bracket for those who prioritize selfie shooting.

When you consider everything the Xiaomi Mi 11 has to offer, from its breakneck performance to an extensive set of features, it’s a steal at its current price. While its design hardly breaks any new ground, it’s nonetheless a well-built and dazzling flagship that impresses in several key departments, especially its 120Hz display. The difference in performance in high-end phones matters less with each passing generation, but the Mi 11 offers far more bang-for-back than many of its premium competitors might.

Mi 11 is Xiaomi's offering in the flagship market, and they advertise it as a "movie magic" or videography-centric device. For the price of Php 36,990, what else can this phone offer rather than just the camera features?

Xiaomi’s Mi 11 delivers good imaging performance in most respects. Photo quality is very good, with the high-resolution sensor and careful processing holding onto more detail than any phone tested to date. General stills performance is nicely balanced overall. The only weakness in stills shows up when zooming in, where the lack of a dedicated tele camera leaves the Mi 11 behind the tele-equipped competition. Video quality also benefits from the Mi 11’s finesse with detail, and though artifacts could be better controlled and low-light exposures brighter, most users will be more than satisfied with the phone’s video output. In short, the Mi 11 is worth considering for any mobile photographer who doesn’t prioritize long zoom performance.

With specs like a Quad HD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, 108MP main sensor, plus 55W wired and 50W wireless fast charging, the Mi 11 matches (and even surpasses, in some areas) Samsung’s Galaxy S21 Ultra. A fantastic chipset with a very good primary sensor and super-fast charging puts the Xiaomi Mi 11 in an excellent position. Is it likely going to hold the title of the best smartphone of 2021? Obviously it’s too early to say (and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise), but I’d lean towards no. It’s an amazing device, but its camera system for sure has been out-classed by competitors, and the litany of frustrating software issues means that a lot of other OEMs have Xiaomi beat here if you’re particularly sensitive to those. The speakers are a wonderful selling point as well, and for a starting price of €649, you can’t really go wrong with the latest and greatest Qualcomm chipset.

The most attractive aspect of the Mi 11 is its price. Starting at 749€ MSRP, the phone offers a very compelling package that I think rationalises itself against the nearest competition. The nearest competition of course is the Galaxy S21+ which lands in at 849€ at the time of writing. The Xiaomi has a higher quality screen, generally better main camera module (though worse ultra-wide), a more premium design and build, a faster SoC (In Exynos markets), however it’s likely to have notable worse battery life.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 is a tempting phone for the price, and will have you wanting to part with your cash for it over rivals such as the Galaxy S21. In many ways, this is an excellent device; the screen, performance and charging are all top-tier. It isn't quite perfect, though: there are some issues, especially around the software.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 tries to turn almost every part of its spec sheet up to 11 -- with the Snapdragon 888, MIUI, and the 108MP main sensor, this phone might just be the beginning of an entire line of Mi 11 powerhouses. JV gives us this thoughts on the latest from Xiaomi.

The Mi 11 isn’t a phone so spectacular that I would urge you to jump through import hoops in order to acquire one. It’s just a very good phone that will be an extremely compelling option in any market where it’s sold. If you happen to live in one of them, it has my strong recommendation.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 has the right price and the right specs to compete with the current crop of flagships in the market, but a few small things keep it from greatness. Nevertheless, if the best from Samsung and Apple is too pricey for you, then the Xiaomi Mi 11 is an enticing alternative.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 is one of the best premium phones you should consider buying, as it’s well-specced in almost every department: it has super-fast processing, a high screen resolution with extra display modes, and some camera modes and features the competition lacks. It’s just a shame that the sub-par battery life and unreliable fingerprint scanners mar the experience.

The Mi 11 is almost unbeatable on hardware for the price, trouncing rivals on charging, camera, and display tech - and it looks slick too. This is a brilliant phone that's only held back by software that can't quite keep up with the competition.

There’s no official price yet for the Philippine market as of creating this review, but based on the prices of its predecessors, we can expect it to be priced below PHP 40K. Sure, the Xiaomi Mi 11 has a few drawbacks: the occasional heating, lack of telephoto lens, slightly lower battery capacity, and lack of an IP rating. But there’s still a lot of convincing reasons why you should get this beastly phone.

Xiaomi has finally all the pieces of the puzzle in place for their flagship phones. The Mi 11 has fantastic cameras, class-leading hardware, and a UI that won’t look out of place in their competitor’s offering. Add while the phone is pricier than previous models offered by the brand, it’s still far more affordable than what the competition is offering by a large margin, making the Mi 11 the perfect choice for people obsessed with getting the most out of their money.

Is the Xiaomi Mi 11 worth RM2799? Well, I do like its screen. The stereo speakers tuned by harman/kardon are also excellent, so much so that after I shut down my PC to watch a YouTube video in bed, I didn’t feel like I needed to connect a pair of earphones to properly enjoy the audio. It is that good. The camera setup, while rather simplistic, is really good at letting me take good shots without having to switch between modes.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 may be pricey but you do get serious specs for your money. This 5G phone excels in terms of its display, camera, and hardware. Though it may have some minor shortcomings, overall it's an Android phone worth considering.

The Mi 11 has an evocative design, stunning QHD+ AMOLED screen, and a 108MP camera at the back that takes amazing photos. Combine that with the best internal hardware you'll find today, 55W wired and 50W wireless charging, and an Android 11 skin that has plenty of customizability and you get the Android phone to beat in 2021.

While the phone has evolved in a meaningful way over its predecessor, the Mi 10 5G that I have used and loved, the Mi 11 arrives with a power-hungry display, slightly smaller battery, and less versatile camera setup that mostly reuses the hardware from the Mi 10. Viewed in a vacuum and considering its $749 in China and other applicable markets, the Mi 11 is a great phone, but not as good as I'd have liked it to be. Is that a problem? Given that Samsung's Galaxy S21-series didn't introduce that much improvements over the previous generation, I'd say Xiaomi gets a pass this time.

And yet, the Mi 11 is an incredibly cheap, in flagship terms, that is, smartphone. In fact, the Mi 11 probably costs as low as the upcoming OnePlus 9 Pro, or even lower. This will be a sad day for the Never Settle crowd and a massive win for Xiaomi. We can see a bright future for the Mi 11 - it has everything to quickly become a bestseller.

In general, Xiaomi Mi 11 is a flagship masterpiece after the initial success of Xiaomi’s high-end strategy. As the Snapdragon 888 model that should have appeared in the spring of 2020, it has arrived months ahead of schedule. The 865 models formed a wave of dimensionality reduction offensive, which was caught off guard. Relying on the mature video system, the pinnacle of the screen, the battery life without shortcomings, and other “extreme bucket” specifications, Xiaomi Mi 11 will inevitably not fail in the flagship hegemony throughout the year 2021, very sincere. Qualcomm Adreno 660:
