Le smartphone Sony Xperia XZ2 nous a donné pleinement satisfaction et ce dans tous les domaines dans lesquels nous avons pu le pousser dans ses retranchements. A aucun moment il n’a failli et il a toujours su répondre présent. Ses performances sont à souligner, ne provoquant aucun ralentissement tout comme ses capacités de captation photo et vidéo notamment en Ultra HD 4K HDR, s’il vous plaît. Le nouveau design est très appréciable même si on peut regretter le dos trop bombé selon nous mais à part cela, Sony tente un sérieux retour dans la course des plus grands avec ce modèle qui reste malgré relativement abordable.

Avec des options intéressantes et un design haut de gamme ayant toutefois ses failles, le Xperia XZ2 est un appareil de qualité. Le fait d’investir un peu moins pour se contenter de la version compacte est un choix personnel. À mon avis, les options supplémentaires que possède le XZ2 sont agréables, mais non nécessaires. Les deux appareils sont fiables et sont donc de bons choix. Qu’en est-il de la version Premium ? Je vous en reparle dès que j’ai l’opportunité de le tester.

C’est finalement une drôle d’impression que laisse ce Xperia XZ2. Le changement de design est le bienvenu, ne serait-ce que parce qu’on commençait à se lasser de l’ancien. Malheureusement, le nouveau ne s'accompagne pas d’une ergonomie incroyable, le mauvais placement du capteur d’empreintes en témoigne. On salue l’amélioration de la qualité photo qui n’est toutefois pas encore à la hauteur des meilleurs smartphones du marché et le superbe écran de ce smartphone. Mais en fait, comme souvent sur les modèles haut de gamme de Sony, ce sont la puissance, la rapidité générale de l’appareil et sa bonne endurance qui convainquent le plus. Et de ce point de vue, le XZ2 compte indubitablement parmi les champions.

A 799 euros, le Xperia XZ2 a largement sa place parmi les grands.

With all said and done, we won't pretend the Xperia XZ2 and its little sibling are just your regular old next-generation flagship releases. Sony's major redesign is a fact. Whether or not "Ambient Flow" sticks around and retains its rounded shapes and forms might just depend on the success of the XZ2 pair. It is still way too early to make any viable predictions in that regard, and the truth is, long-time Sony fans and newcomers to the Xperia realm, alike, have to make their peace with the design one way or another. A distinctly individual decision, if we ever saw one.

The XZ2 Compact misses out on one other feature - its larger sibling introduces what Sony calls “Dynamic Vibration System” which basically triggers the phone’s vibrator based on the sound in games and videos and even music, like force feedback in a game controller. You can adjust the intensity at any time. We tried it and found it to be extremely gimmicky. It can actually be distracting when you’re absorbed in watching something, and we imagine it would get uncomfortable very quickly if we were holding the phone while listening to music. We don’t think this will become a must-have feature anytime soon.

La plupart des jeux pas trop demandants actuels peuvent tourner de façon fluide. soyez prêts à endurer un rendu graphique assez moche à cause de la basse résolution et des détails au minimum. Par ailleurs ces cartes sont suffisantes pour un travail de bureau et le visionnage de vidéos (pas évident pour la vidéo HD).
