La puissance brute du Snapdragon 8 Elite, couplée à une autonomie monstre de 6500 mAh, en fait un véritable couteau suisse numérique capable de répondre à tous les usages. Certes, l'absence de charge sans fil et la politique de mise à jour limitée à 3 ans peuvent freiner certains utilisateurs. Cependant, la qualité de fabrication, les performances photo impressionnantes, sa capacité de recharge très rapide et l'écran OLED 120 Hz compensent largement ces quelques lacunes.

Mais le moteur semble bien trop gros pour la carrosserie. Les montées en température que nous avons constatées durant nos tests n’ont rien de rassurant. On reste dubitatif sur le maintien de la fiabilité de l’appareil lorsqu’il est soumis à de fortes charges de travail par des températures ambiantes élevées. Même la chauffe est bien gérée, tout comme le bridage du SoC. En toute situation, de l’encodage de vidéos 4K aux jeux vidéo les plus gourmands, rien ne le fera fléchir. Cependant, la photographie est plus inégale. Si nous obtenons de très bons résultats avec le capteur principal et le téléobjectif, l’ultra grand-angle est trop en retrait. Ce n’est pas le cas du mode portrait dorsal ou du mode selfie, qui offrent une excellente qualité. La cerise sur le gâteau est certainement son endurance, qui en fait un mobile au long cours. Qualcomm Adreno 830: Unité graphique intégrée dans le SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite pour smartphones avec trois tranches de 1,1 GHz chacune. Cache partagé intégré de 12 Mo pour les trois tranches. Selon Qualcomm, 40% plus rapide que la génération précédente (Adreno 750).
Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.
