At the price of Rs 6,999, this is certainly one of the best- ..

Realme C1 comes with a decent design, good battery and performance. It is also one of the cheapest smartphones to sport a notched display. I would definitely recommend the smartphone at the price it was introduced and at which it drops at during most sales. However, I wouldn’t recommend getting the device at its current price. As you can get smartphones like Xiaomi Redmi 6, Lenovo K9 and more around the same price point, which, which offer a better cost to specifications ratio.

At Php 5,990, I would definitely say this device is a real threat to the reigning entry level king – Xiaomi’s Mi 6A. an entry-level king for its price. It’s currently the most affordable smartphone in the country that has a Snapdragon 450 chipset in it. If I were a teenager on a lookout for budget smartphone, I would definitely consider getting this device. It has a big display, gets the job done (at least for day-to-day tasks), it has decent cameras, and that “mega battery” does live up to its name.

With the Realme C1, I think a lot of people’s perception of entry-level smartphones will change. Realme wasn’t kidding around when they claim that this phone is the “entry-level king”, and honestly, it just might be. I mean at Php5,990, you’re getting a phone, an entry-level one for that matter, that feels solid, has decent cameras, and a battery life that can last for more than a day. It’s even cheaper than the OPPO A3s, so there’s that. So would I recommend it? Definitely! You get exactly what you pay for, nothing less. If you’re looking for a daily driver that can deliver, then the C1 is your buddy.

With a budget price, the Realme C1 undercuts most of the competition, thanks to the long battery life, decent performance, dual-camera lens, and large and bright display. It may also be the best gift for these holidays.

Despite the price hike, the Realme C1 is still a great budget option and a solid Redmi 6A alternative. If you liked the Realme 2, you will love the Realme C1. It gets an attractive design that makes it stand out from generic plastic smartphones in this segment. It gets a big, immersive display and is one of the cheapest notched phones in the market. Perhaps the icing on the cake here is that the C1 delivers a terrific battery life that none of the Redmi phones in this range can boast of.

At Rs.6,999, the Realme C1 offers plenty of value. It would be hard to find another smartphone that matches the performance and features it delivers. Keep in mind that this pricing is for the festive season only, so there is a chance of it increasing by Rs. 1,000 or more, later on. The Realme C1 has a lot going for it such as excellent battery life, a relatively powerful SoC, a big display, and stylish looks. The 2GB of RAM does limit its multitasking ability a bit, and we would have liked an option with more internal storage.

The Realme C1 is surely one of the most premium-looking smartphones in the under Rs 8,000 price segment. The display looks good in indoor lighting, though the reflective nature of the screen makes it a bit difficult to read the text in broad daylight. The camera performance is a hit and miss in different lighting condition, although the performance is pretty satisfactory. The user interface still needs a lot of polishing. That said, the Realme C1 does look like an interesting smartphone and it will surely give a stiff competition to the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 6A, Infinix Smart 2 and more.

I don’t think for this price you will get such features in a smartphone. There are minor issues (check video review) but for Rs. 6,999 this is no doubt the best budget friendly smartphone.

The Realme C1 will have a RP 1,499,000(~Php 5.4k). Its price is very competitive, especially since we can’t think of any other Snapdragon 450-sporting phone having a sub-Php 5.5k price. Locally, the Realme C1’s closest rival is Xiaomi’s Redmi 5 at Php 5,799 for the 2GB/16GB model. While the Redmi 5 has a fingerprint scanner, it only has a single rear camera, a smaller battery, and a smaller display, making the Realme C1’s price pretty compelling in comparison.

Qualcomm Adreno 506:
