So, should you consider investing in the OnePlus 13? Honestly, the only good reason we can think of anyone not buying it is their loyalty to another brand. For, in terms of performance-to-price ratio in the premium flagship zone, the OnePlus 13 is a fair distance ahead of everyone else and actually is one of those rare devices that has no major flaw. The fact that you can get the OnePlus 13’s monstrous 24 GB/1 TB variant for less than the price of a base iPhone 16 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro, or the Galaxy S25 Plus gives you an idea of the kind of value it delivers in the premium zone. Those on a tight budget might consider the iQoo 13, which comes with the same processor and a similar-sized display, but the OnePlus 13 brings more to the premium flagship table in terms of features like super-fast wireless charging and significantly better cameras.

OnePlus just produced its most overtly competitive flagship phone yet. The OnePlus 13 addresses lingering concerns over water resistance, boasts outstanding performance and battery life and is fronted by a beautifully natural and responsive display. While OnePlus’s camera provision isn’t the very best around, it’s sufficiently reliable to not be an issue – especially if you like your colours to be just a little larger-than-life.

Ultimately, the choice comes down to your priorities, because frankly there is no wrong choice here. For those wanting a capable and stylish phone at a lower price, the OnePlus 13R offers the better value between the two. However, if you seek cutting-edge performance and premium features, the OnePlus 13 is the clear winner if you can afford the higher price.

By most of the metrics that matter, OnePlus 13 is an excellent smartphone. For $899, you get a vibrant display, AI features that at least have some parity with the competition, one of the best smartphone batteries ever, and top-level performance. Personally, I wouldn't call the OnePlus 13 cameras a selling point on their own, even though they're perfectly fine. Beyond that, I don't love its vegan leather back texture, and I still have major qualms with all of the AI creep in our lives. But if you need a new Android (or Android-like) phone and want to get out of the Apple/Google/Samsung bubble, this is probably the way to do it.

Let me draw on the Achilles metaphor one final time. The OnePlus 13 is a solid phone, hardware as well as software wise. It has the specifications and the backend support to go on for years and keep up with the latest Android updates. As much as I love the feeling of having this sleek and normal-looking gaming phone, I don’t think that’s appealing to everyone. And that’s where the cameras step in. The OnePlus 13 is a powerful phone that is setting the bar for what a flagship needs to be in 2025, but at the same time, this camera needs to get better so we can recommend it to more people.

Although it's more expensive than its predecessors and still lags behind in promised software support, the OnePlus 13 remains an amazing value for a flagship Android phone. While it's entirely possible that the Samsung Galaxy S25 series appears within just a few weeks and changes the game, the current closest competitors specs-wise for the OnePlus 13 all cost more, and equivalently-priced models all lack in one or more areas compared to the new OnePlus. The large, feature-packed display, awesome battery life and clever new software features (both with and without AI) are things we've seen from OnePlus before, but it's the improved cameras that are the OnePlus 13's crowning achievement.

I do have a handful of complaints about this phone and they will sound familiar, so I’ll make it quick. There are still software quirks or decisions that OnePlus made that I don’t love, which I talked about earlier. The phone is quite large, so if you don’t love massive phones, this one will be a struggle at times, especially for one-handed users. OnePlus still doesn’t send out updates as frequently as we’d like, although they were pretty quick with Android 15. While pricing at $899 is good, availability is direct-only, as there are no carrier partners working with OnePlus any longer. And that’s really it. OnePlus made a great phone in the OnePlus 13 that has a big, beautiful display, performs flawlessly, has improved software, should last for more than a day on a single charge, and is equipped with a camera that can truly hang. Put this phone on your short list – you might just love it.

The OnePlus 13 may bear a resemblance to last year’s OnePlus 12, which itself shared similarities with the OnePlus 11, but the latest iteration delivers a significant leap in performance. Thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, there’s little to criticise when it comes to the phone’s performance for daily use or gaming. It also boasts one of the best displays across all segments, providing a brilliant viewing experience. Users will also likely appreciate the new AI features bundled under the OnePlus AI suite, along with the reliable performance backed by the 6,000mAh battery, which delivers impressive backup on a single charge. As I said, OnePlus can explore a new design in the next iteration as the current is a bit monotonous, at least in terms of approach. Its software experience remains decent, though some proprietary apps serve very little purpose, at least to me.

I could drone on about other bits and pieces on the OnePlus 13 for hours more but I feel that I would lose your interest as this has been quite long enough already (kudos for making it this far). However, I am not going to drag this out any more than is needed. Simply put although this is one of the 1st major brand launches of the year with the new Snapdragon Chipset onboard it is in my opinion one of the best phones currently available to the wider global market. I would be very happy to continue to use this phone daily and if I wasn’t so hooked on foldable phones I would certainly being doing so. While I fully expect the next phone series from Samsung to be up with the OnePlus 13 in terms of specs I also expect it to be way more expensive.

After using the OnePlus 13, I realised one thing: there is something different about this phone, although it also reminds me of how mature our smartphones have become. I had no unrealistic expectations from the OnePlus 13, but I was surprised to see a mainstream flagship Android that is impressively better in new and different ways. Maybe that’s what the industry needs to follow—a more stable smartphone that seems less superficial, has long-term software update support, and can easily last you a few years.

When it comes to OnePlus R devices, the main appeal lies in their exceptional bang for the buck, and the OnePlus 13R more than delivers. At $300 less than the regular OnePlus 13, the R version manages to retain the core experience remarkably well. It features an almost identical display, the same battery, and while its chipset is a year older, it’s still a highly capable performer. Naturally, some compromises were necessary to achieve the lower price point. In addition to lacking the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, the OnePlus 13R also omits wireless charging, and its camera system—particularly the ultrawide sensor—is less advanced than the flagship model. However, if you can live with these trade-offs, the OnePlus 13R is an outstanding value proposition.

For a starting price of $899, the OnePlus 13 delivers some seriously good value -- possibly the best of all the major flagship phones I've tested lately. The company has improved the device in almost every way, from the design to the performance to its accessory ecosystem. I just wish OnePlus offered more extensive software support, as the OnePlus 13 will only receive four years of Android OS updates and six years of security updates. Samsung, Google, and Apple offer at least seven years of OS support. If you're interested in the OnePlus 13, the best deal I'm currently seeing is on the OnePlus website, as the company is offering a free OnePlus Watch 2 (valued at $299), a free storage upgrade (valued at $100), and at least $100 off when you trade in any phone in any condition.

Predictably, the new OnePlus 13 is the best phone OnePlus has ever made. But more surprising is just how big a leap OnePlus has made in many of the most important aspects of a flagship phone in 2025. The OnePlus 13 does more than expected, matching or surpassing more expensive phones from Apple, Samsung and Google with a large and bright display, top-tier performance, great cameras, a slick operating system, years of software support and breakthrough battery life. The £50 price bump places OnePlus closer to premium flagship territory than ever before, but it’s never been so deserving of the company.

The OnePlus 13 display demonstrated an overall good performance, especially in readability and touch. The device’s luminance was well-suited in indoor and outdoor situations despite an unnatural tone rendering under sunlight (with the High Brightness Mode activated). The relatively strong reflections impacted outdoor performances, adding a color cast when viewing content. Reading comfort was enhanced thanks to the screen’s lack of flicker. Using faithful mode, color rendering was accurate overall, but colors visibly shifted when the screen was held at a 25° angle. The device’s weakest performance was in HDR and SDR video rendering in low-light conditions because of poor brightness, contrast, and color results. However, in indoor lighting conditions, the device rendered HDR videos with adequate luminance and contrast, providing a generally good experience. Touch interactions on the screen had a fast response time and were smooth and accurate, despite some occasional unintended touches.Length 3

The OnePlus 13 continues OnePlus’ streak of creating high-quality and well-performing models. Building on the OnePlus 12, the 13 model has even more to offer in terms of features, software, build and design for a competitive price. The improvements made to the cameras and imaging software allow you to get excellent image quality in variety of conditions. The overall care and detail given to hardware offers more day-to-day reassurance. In particular, the IP68/69 ratings give me more confidence to use the phone outdoors in the rain or by a pool.

The OnePlus 13 is undoubtedly one of the best Android phones a power user can pick up right now. While its camera isn't best-in-class – the much pricier Xiaomi 14 Ultra bests it on that front – it's still very well-priced. OnePlus outclasses the other Snapdragon 8 Elite phones available in January 2025: the Redmagic 10 Pro lacks the IP-rated durability and camera performance; the IQOO 13 misses out on wireless charging and its cameras also fall short. We're also expecting the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and Honor Magic 7 Pro to cost a fair bit more than OnePlus's flagship, suggesting it will still be a great shout once they drop. If you don't need the latest power and don't mind the curved screen, there's an argument to be made for opting for last year's OnePlus 12 instead – the phone has aged well – however, if you're happy with the asking price, the OnePlus 13 is a very good phone with excellent battery life and top-tier performance.

The OnePlus 13 is a significant upgrade over its predecessor, positioning itself as a solid contender in the premium smartphone segment. With a functional design, a feature-rich display, and a versatile imaging system, it delivers strong performance across various use cases. In a mobile phone landscape increasingly driven by AI, the initial AI features on the OnePlus 13 may leave some users wanting more. While the generative AI tools for image editing and document management are a welcome addition, they are not as advanced as those seen in devices from brands like Samsung or Google. It would take a really good camera system to knock the Pixel 9 Pro off the top spot as my first choice camera phone, and the OnePlus 13 comes agonizingly close, with all three of its cameras offering great images – although a few white balance mistakes and a shorter telephoto just take it away from perfection. Photos are detailed, with great results from each of the three different cameras. The colors are accurate and nicely saturated. The white balance, on the whole, is accurate, although it can veer slightly warmer, however, consistency has been a minor issue with some quirks in white balance and processing as you switch between cameras. And when it comes to hardware, I wish OnePlus had chosen to go further than a 3x optical zoom camera, I am a big zoom fan, and this doesn’t quite do it for me – I would really hope for at least a 5x optical zoom.

Things are looking up for OnePlus 13, which is once again positioning itself as the hidden ultimate-value gem in the Android space, a phone with exceptional hardware, great software, but sadly, the lack of a more widespread brand recognition in the US and therefore trailing behind the Galaxies and iPhones. This definitely prevents the OnePlus 13 from ever beating the iPhones and Galaxies in the US, which is by now a popularity contest. And looking past the brand name, the OnePlus 13 has it all: modern design in a compact body, top-notch performance (especially in gaming), good battery life, superfast charging, and a lovely screen. However, there are some flies in the ointment. It feels like the battery life should be better, and the camera system isn't that good and leaves a lot to be desired in terms of image quality.

Despite that, there’s plenty to work with, including special emphasis on movement via the Action mode. It’s within the regular Photo mode and uses an algorithmic cocktail to better freeze action. Without a variable aperture, the challenge (for any phone camera) is to freeze an active scene while warding off the inevitable noise from an ISO boost. There are promising signs here, though I’ll dive into them deeper in the upcoming full review.

However, if you want a slightly bigger phone, the Pixel 9 Pro XL ($1099 at Amazon) also fits the bill for all the reasons mentioned above. I’d also steer you to Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra ($1419.99 at Amazon) — another device I’ve referenced throughout this review. It’s big, powerful, and ready to keep you productive, thanks to its built-in S Pen. That same stylus means that Samsung’s top-end traditional flagship won’t work with any magnetic case, so you’ll have to make do with more traditional charging options. More importantly, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is one flagship that can give OnePlus’s improved camera zoom a run for its money thanks to 100x Space Zoom from its dual-telephoto setup. Just remember that we expect the next Galaxy S25 Ultra to be right around the corner and offer upgraded specs similar to the OnePlus 13.

The OnePlus 13 brings high-end performance and features to a reasonably priced flagship phone. It has an impressive display, ultra-long battery life, industry-leading charging speeds, and powerful performance. We wish the cameras were slightly better and that its AI offerings were more substantive. The phone lags behind Google and Samsung in terms of software support, camera quality, AI, and 5G radio support, which makes the Pixel 9 Pro XL your best bet, while the forthcoming Galaxy S25 might be worth holding out for.

Going into 2025, it's hard to find much fault in OnePlus's latest flagship candy bar-style phone. The company continues to solidify its position as a hardware specification trailblazer, and the OnePlus 13 is about as feature-packed as it gets. The product line's OxygenOS software skin has been something of a sore spot in recent years, but the OnePlus 13 benefits from a noticeably refined user experience with this latest version running atop Android 15. I still prefer Google's particular take on the overall Android look and feel, but I appreciate the wealth of options found within OnePlus' OS. In the end, the OnePlus 13 is a solid phone. It’s really powerful, can go for ages on a full charge, refills quickly, has a brilliant display and versatile camera system. It’s all the things you’d want a OnePlus phone to be. Does it move the needle much beyond what the OnePlus 12 offers? In some ways – specifically around performance and battery life. But, there’s an argument to be made here that not many people will feel the benefit of that extra power, because you need to push it really hard to make the most of all that extra ‘oomph’. Still, if you want a fast, long-lasting, versatile flagship phone alternative to Google and Samsung’s, it’s a great choice. I’d still be tempted to pick up the Oppo Find X8 Pro, for a little more refinement in design instead or the Vivo X200 Pro for the epic zoom camera.

My old complaints have been pounded into silence by an amazingly durable design and the best support OnePlus has offered. The cameras take photos that capture the action with clarity. This is a phone that turns heads, but it’s more than just a pretty face. It lasts all day and through the night, then gets back up for work after a power nap. Sound fun? Just buy it already.

In a lot of ways, the OnePlus 13 is a flavor of Android I didn't know I was missing. It's a phone developed with (modern) power users in mind, but without a lot of the bloat I feel whenever I'm using a modern Samsung device. It's got a camera with actual character, something that's difficult to find in a time where seemingly every major OEM wants to make your photos look as flat and evenly lit as possible. And it's still one of the only devices sold in the US with game-changing levels of fast charging — I'll never get tired of these 80W speeds.

I've used a lot of devices in the 14 years I've been reviewing Android phones, but I haven't been able to consider one "perfect" until the OnePlus 13 came along. The OnePlus 13 does it all, from brilliant build quality and an eye-catching design, the first to achieve IP69 water and dust resistance, the fastest processor in any phone on the market, an incredible eye-friendly OLED with the industry's first Display Mate A++ rating, a giant battery with epically fast charging, Oxygen OS 15's amazing features, six years of software updates, and a camera that finally competes with (and often beats) Pixel and Samsung Galaxy phones.

Now the big question is, whether you should buy the OnePlus 13. I really like this phone, it’s not perfect, but it does a lot of things right. I do wish it had brought over the Zero Shutter Lag from the OPPO Find X8 series, that’s about the only complaint I have here with this phone. Battery life could be better, but it’s perfectly fine. And at this price, it’s likely going to be the cheapest flagship here in the US. It’s already cheaper than the Pixel 9 Pro, and likely much cheaper than the Galaxy S25 Ultra (Galaxy S24 Ultra had an MSRP of $1,299).

The OnePlus 13 is a return to form for the brand, offering a compelling mix of performance, design, and battery life. Its sleek and refined design, combined with top-tier hardware and thoughtful AI features, make it an excellent choice for most users. While the cameras and display don’t break new ground, they are more than sufficient for everyday use. However, the OnePlus 13 faces stiff competition from devices like the Vivo X200 Pro and OPPO Find X8 Pro, which offer superior cameras. Green lines, rising prices, and a rough patch – OnePlus hasn’t had it easy over the past few years. The brand that once revolutionised the smartphone market with its ‘flagship killer’ mantra found itself caught in the crossfire of rising expectations and stiff competition.

I’ve been using the OnePlus 13 as my primary phone for about a month now, and it has been fantastic. I love the photos it takes, the speed and smoothness of the software, the striking design, the Midnight Ocean color, and how comfortable it is to hold. It’s the little things that make it so good to own, such as the vastly improved fingerprint sensor, tactile haptics, the Alert Slider’s helpfulness, and the incredible efficiency that leads to long battery life. The screen is overly sensitive, though, and I’d like the notifications to be more reliable, but these are small issues that don’t dramatically detract from the rest of the phone. The OnePlus 13 is right up there with the Google Pixel 9 Pro as being an unequivocal recommendation, and Samsung really needs to deliver with the Galaxy S25 to come close to meeting the bar set by it.

OnePlus appears to be seeking a fresh start, and the OnePlus 13 represents a significant advancement. It's got a ton of upgrades in every department, including AI tricks and some new toys. Priced from Rs. 69,999 onwards (12GB + 256GB), the OnePlus 13 once again makes a case for itself in the sub-Rs. 70,000 segment. It is possible to find many smartphones (like the Realme GT 7 Pro and iQoo 13) that offer similar performance at a lower price, but none can match the camera prowess of the OnePlus 13 at this price point. Those interested in a smaller form factor can give the Oppo Find X8 a look, as it, is packed with enough firepower but falls short on camera performance.

OnePlus chose not to do a lot of camera upgrades this time around, so we're not really raving about it as a cameraphone. Don't get us wrong though - it remains a solid picture-taking device, with somewhat of a standout ultrawide. We'd have liked to see a closer-focusing telephoto - you'll need to look elsewhere for one of those. OP is also staying away from the display brightness race - but that's more of a blemish in the tests page than a real issue with the 13. The 13 is, in fact, quite great on the fundamentals, offering some of the longest battery life in the class, together with speedy top-ups. No longer trailing in dust and water resistance, it's now as well-sealed as the rest, and it's even a step ahead in the build department thanks to its magnetic accessories capability.

What’s interesting is that the OnePlus 13’s shooters are almost identical to Oppo’s Find X8 Pro’s. Yet, despite using different ISPs (Qualcomm vs. MediaTek) both phones take very similar pictures. This really speaks to Oppo’s imaging expertise, which – combined with Haselblad’s color science – continues to benefit OnePlus. As such, the OnePlus 13 cameras easily match or surpass Google, Samsung, and Apple’s best.

OnePlus historically pushes the envelope of what a modern smartphone should be at pricing just below the flagship averages. The OnePlus 13 is more than a worthy upgrade to this lineage. The cleaner software paired with the fantastic hardware and powerhouse make the OnePlus 13 a contender at any price point. Oh, and did we mention it can be placed in a dishwasher and survive?

The OnePlus 13 is as good as or better than most flagship phones out there while offering some things that you just can’t get elsewhere. If you’re concerned about durability, then the IP69 water resistance might appeal to you—and rest assured that you won’t be sacrificing things like performance and camera quality. If you’re looking for a flagship Android experience at under $900, this is about as good as you can get right now.

OnePlus has just launched the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R which are this year’s flagship candy bar devices for the brand. I have been very fortunate to have been able to use the OnePlus 13 for a short time prior to the launch and I have had some time to gather up my first impressions.

The OnePlus 13 has been a delight to use over the past month. I haven’t found myself missing my iPhone or even my Pixel. I like the user interface, the camera capabilities, the long-lasting battery and the snappy processor. The OnePlus 13 is now available in Canada and you can get it from Best Buy Canada or OnePlus’ website. The 16GB of RAM/512GB of storage model costs $1,399.99 and if you don’t need all that RAM and storage, the 12GB/256GB model costs $1,249.99. If you don’t mind purchasing a device outright (and you totally should; the carriers are robbing you), then the OnePlus 13 is definitely worth the cost.

The OnePlus 13 is an easy recommendation, especially if you’re a OnePlus fan or an Android enthusiast. As noted in the headline of this review, this release hits all the right marks—and does so without crossing the $1,000 threshold. The price actually starts at $899. Last year, OnePlus seemed to lag behind competitors in the AI department, missing out on features that other brands embraced. However, with OxygenOS 15, they’ve clearly rethought their approach, introducing a creative suite of AI tools that elevate the user experience. Coupled with its powerful hardware, the OnePlus 13 stays true to the company’s philosophy of delivering premium features without breaking the bank. That said, last year I noted how OnePlus’ flagship devices felt too similar to Oppo’s offerings in the same category—a point that hasn’t changed much.

This is one of the best phones I've ever tested in almost every way. This is a bit of revelation for the company. No longer is the OnePlus flagship "good enough" — it's just as good as anything anyone else produces. That's saying a lot. OnePlus has inserted itself into the conversation in a meaningful way. There are a few minor quibbles that some of the more diehard fans might find to be deal breakers. The lack of true Qi2 is maddening, but it's hard to ding a phone maker for something that no other phone maker has done. Nighttime video is still a weak point, but that's literally every phone's weakest point (from a camera perspective). Beyond that, this phone is pretty great.

OnePlus began as a challenge to the status quo of the smartphone market and delivered products that made the same premium features more accessible to people. It was never just about the price, however, and the focus was always on providing a design and user experience that could keep up with users’ needs and preferences, facets of their lives that change and grow over time. The OnePlus 13 aims to be that kind of companion on people’s life journeys. Not just a technological tool but a part and extension of themselves. Its future-proof features, stylish aesthetics, and environment-conscious design allow it to keep up with users from all walks of life, whether they’re content creators, mobile gamers, knowledge workers, or anyone in between.

After a fortnight with the OnePlus 13, it’s clear this is a very natural step on from last year’s top Android flagships. Is it significantly better than last year? Well, no. The camera has some nice upgrades and the screen is the best there is. But this is not a revelation, just more of the brilliant same.

That’s kind of a new situation, where Samsung’s S-series device has been the go-to premium Android phone for quite a few years running. Google played some major catch-up with the Pixel 9-series, and now OnePlus is in the conversation, too. That’s awesome. Samsung and Google would have you believe that the AI features exclusive to their phones are indispensable, but I don’t think that’s true — not yet, anyway. The OnePlus 13, of course, offers all the AI features available to high-end phones through Android, like Circle to Search and Gemini, which is plenty. I’d bet that more people care about better battery life than AI tricks right now, and that’s where the OnePlus 13 delivers.

I know it’s early, but the OnePlus 13 is shaping up to be be one of the best phones of 2025. At $999, the new smartphone is positioned to go up against the iPhone 16 Pro, Google Pixel 9 Pro, and rumored Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, complete with powerful specs and a stunning design to boot. OnePlus has never been the default smartphone choice for a lot of consumers, but it might be time to change that. I’ve been using the OnePlus 13 for the past few weeks, and I’ve found it to be incredibly solid. It boasts a handful of upgrades over the OnePlus 12 which don’t quite make it good for upgrading year-over-year. Rather, OnePlus has positioned the phone to be its best yet for those who have considered joining the Never Settle lifestyle.

The comprehensive configuration of OnePlus 13 is still very good, limited by space, we even omitted some important selling points, such as it also supports IP68 & IP69 level of dust and waterproof, vibration is still the largest size of the Android camp “bionic vibration motor Turbo”, and the interface is USB 3.2 Gen1, from the perspective of the “parameter party”, it is almost impeccable, and is a flagship of the “super Pro class”. On the other hand, from the perspective of the “experience party”, it is even better.

The OnePlus 13 is a complete package that manages to wow users on all fronts. You get an improved micro quad curved display, faster processor, bigger battery and improved cameras. There is also Magnetic Wireless charging support, and the company has retained the iconic alert slider found in previous models. The only challenge that remains is the company’s reputation, which has been affected by issues like the green line and motherboard failure on previous models that have deterred the faith and trust OnePlus users had in the company. However, the OnePlus 13 might prove to be a turning point, luring those who want a flagship phone without spending flagship-grade money.

Since its inception, OnePlus has stood out for its unique approach, consistently avoiding trends, blind imitation, and compromise. This commitment is embedded in its brand identity. The OnePlus 13 leverages a self-developed esports-grade graphics engine to maximize the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition’s powerful GPU rendering capabilities. For open-world adventure games like Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd, which demand exceptional performance, this innovation significantly enhances game frame rates. Additionally, super-resolution and HDR 4.0 technology keep Genshin Impact running smoothly, with an average frame rate of 120.66 FPS, clear visuals, and minimal lag.

The iPad mini is a very niche device for a very specific type of user. It's not an iPad that has been mini-fied to be cheaper — it's a premium iPad that has been made smaller for those that desire such a tiny tablet. In other words, if you are one of the people who would find use for it, you probably have your mind set on it. In fact, you probably own an iPad mini 6th gen. Is this one better and worth going for? Well, it will definitely work great with Final Cut and Logic for iPad if that's what you want to do on the small screen. We imagine that most people that use an iPad mini for some kind of productive work are the ones that sketch and write notes with the Apple Pencil on the go.

It's about that time when the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit is already over, and along with it, we know a lot of things just snowball. Then it becomes this competition of which phones will be first with the new chip, and for the longest time, OnePlus is one of those major players. The OnePlus 12 proved to be, hands down one of the best smartphones of 2024, and all without breaking the bank. Then we had the OnePlus 12R which proved year-old specs should be priced for a broader demographic. It's really left a ton of us curious as to what to expect for 2025, and well it's about that time.

The OnePlus 13 boasts Snapdragon 8 Elite power, Sony camera tech, an enormous battery and a slick OxygenOS 15 experience - so is it the best phone of 2024? Ahead of the global launch and Uncle Spurt's unboxing, here's a review of the OnePlus 13 leaks so far - and it looks like a banger! Gaming and other performance based tasks should be a breeze for this 6.8-inch beast. The SD 8 Elite looks like a proper powerhouse, while battery life should also be fantastic. Not much is known about the OnePlus 13's camera tech so far, although some rumours point to a triple lens setup with three Sony LYTIA sensors. You can expect that Hasselblad partnership to once again serve up plenty of custom filters etc.
