The biggest draw of the Motorola Moto E6 Plus is its very low price. Naturally, with the cost being so low, you will have to make sacrifices. You can’t expect to be blown away by its performance, display or camera. It’s a handset suited to someone who needs a smartphone for basic everyday tasks.

The Motorola Moto E6 Plus is an excellent buy for anyone looking to spend as little as possible on a phone. It may be affordable, but it doesn’t present in that way: it looks good and has a large, fairly high-quality screen that makes movies and casual games look nearly as good as though would on a phone costing five times the price.

Coming back to what I started with — the Moto E6s is an okayish phone but it’s no head-turner. The screen is great and it’s nice to get 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, but phones like the Redmi 8 offer a lot more, including a Type-C port and a 5,000 mAh battery, for a slight bump in price. If you are a little tight on budget, you can go for Moto E6s as it isn’t that bad a deal, but I will still recommend spending the additional Rs 1,000 and going for the Redmi 8 instead.

When it comes to design, the phone is surely a fingerprint magnet but it’s beautiful. It’s lightweight and it offers you swappable back panels. The stock android experience is amazing and it handles everyday tasks with ease. Hence, If you are looking for a device that comes with stock android and offers you the complete Stock Android experience then Moto E6s is the perfect choice for you. Else, Smartphones like the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and M2, Xiaomi Redmi 7, Realme 5 and Redmi Note 7S have better specs at the same price point. So if you are willing to compromise with the Stock Android experience you can get smartphones with a better processor, better battery life and a better camera. That’s all from our side. The Moto E6s is possibly one of the only phones at this price to offer 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which is a great, but it compromises a bit too much in other areas, which makes it a little difficult to recommend. Plus, the omission of basic things such as a compass is a real letdown. We've also recently started seeing phones at this price with much bigger batteries, which makes the one in the Moto E6s feel small. With phones such as the Xiaomi Redmi 8A in the market, which features a Type-C port with fast charging and much bigger battery, the E6s doesn't feel very competitive. The removable back cover and battery are nice touches but we doubt this is a feature that would influence anyone's buying decision.

The Moto E6 Plus is another good purchase for users who have a tighter budget and are not very demanding in terms of specifications. Taking into account the price of the smartphone, we can say that its performance and specifications are optimal, although you may also be interested in taking a look at some more expensive options such as Xiaomi or Huawei. You get a lot for your money here including a large screen, good battery life and nice design. However, photography isn't great and the core specs will be too limited for some. Luckily there is a microSD card slot for adding more storage.

As a package, the Motorola Moto E6s seems to be a decent choice considering the price Motorola is selling it for. Motorola is trying to appeal to the semi-urban and rural markets where a phone is preferred with old-school conveniences such as a removable battery, stylish design, clean Android experience and decent cameras. And if this is what you want in your next budget phone, the Moto E6s is for you.

The Moto E6s is a lightweight smartphone that offers a good battery backup and an okay camera, but it it could have done better on other parameters. Still, the performance of the phone is better than other devices powered by the same chipset. Since the Moto E6s comes with a price tag of Rs 7,999, the phone is matched with the likes of Realme 3i and Redmi 7 and that is not a good competition for the new Motorola device. At the maximum, the phone can be considered for its ease of use and removable battery.

At a price of Rs. 7,999, the Motorola E6s has been priced quite competitively, and could appeal to buyers who value the stock Android experience and the convenience of a removable battery. The Motorola E6s could be a good option in its price bracket, but how well will it fare against established budget champions? The Motorola Moto E6s comes loaded with an attractive design language and the hardware seems to be decent for this price range. However, the camera needs some major improvements. As for the competition is concerned, it will have a tough time competing with the likes Xiaomi Redmi 7, Realme 3i, Infinix Hot 8, Tecno Spark Go and more.

We really need to spend more time with Motorola’s new budget phone before we can give a definitive verdict, but this is clearly a smartphone that will appeal to those on a tight budget. For less demanding users who do not wish to download too many games and aren’t fussed by extra features such as fast charging the E6 Plus will serve them well.

Motorola was one of the first brands to kick off the epic price wars that have raged through the Indian smartphone market for the past couple of years. The much-loved early generations of the Moto G series and Moto E series regularly found spots on our lists of the best value smartphones to buy, and their clean Android software without any bloat or spam also earned them fans. Of late though, Xiaomi, Realme, Honor, and other brands have largely stolen the lead in terms of offering the best features and specifications for cost-sensitive buyers. Now, Motorola is back with a new competitor, the Moto E6 Plus.

The Moto E6 Plus isn’t the sexiest phone around, but, from what I’ve seen, it could be a solid option for parents looking for their kid’s first handset, or people on a strict budget.

Commentaire
Imagination PowerVR GE8320:
