EN→FRThe Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 11 is a fantastic business device. The design is clean and the build quality features premium materials. The input devices are comfortable for work – the keyboard isn’t scoring hot when the CPU is under stress because of the inlet keycaps. They offer long key travel and good feedback. The touchpad is smooth and accurate. The performance seems good for a laptop with a 15W U-series CPU. Our device is configured with the Core i7-1355U. The CPU can maintain high clocks and power limits during short and medium-long tasks. In this scenario, the 97°C temperature isn’t that pleasant. The frequencies and the thermals in long loads are normal. We are quite positively surprised by the base 1200p 16:10 IPS display (CSOT MNE007JA1-1 (LEN403A)). It has wide viewing angles, a very good contrast ratio of 1640:1, and a 98% sRGB color coverage.

The ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 11 does exactly what a work-centric laptop is supposed to do: the battery lasts forever (figuratively), the keyboard is comfortable, the display is easy on the eyes and the hardware's performance holds its own when real-world work is concerned. It's light enough to disappear in my bag, while sturdy enough to survive the occasional mishap. It's pleasant to look at, too, provided you keep a microfiber cloth handy. You can find machines that can do more, occasionally for less. They'll have bigger, brighter screens, nicer speakers, or let you play something with more than a handful of polygons. Thinkpads offer a purpose-built tool for those of us with specific, Office and productivity software centered workflows who want to get things done and then shut the lid and move on.

EN→FRThis is my first time experimenting with the ThinkPad X1 Carbon series, and I had my hopes up for this laptop, but unfortunately, they’re a bit dashed right now. The keyboard is mid — it’s not worth the hype, but it’s not awful either. The performance is OK, but there are competitors on the market that deliver longer runtimes and more CPU “oomph” for your money. For example, the Dragonfly Pro is only $1,399 at HP with the same specs as my $1,733 Lenovo review unit (i.e., 16GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, a 14-inch, 1200p display), and yet, it has a better processor and GPU for a similar 13-hour runtime.

EN→FRIn the Carbon, we continue to be dazzled by how much notebook Lenovo can fit into a 2.48-pound package. While Dell and Apple provide smaller screens (though the latter's is sharper than the ThinkPad's base panel) and only a couple of Thunderbolt ports apiece—with the XPS 13 even lacking an audio jack—the X1 Carbon adds two USB-A ports and an HDMI monitor port, as well as one of the best keyboards on a laptop of any size. As we said, the ThinkPad is priced more for enterprise IT buyers than cash-strapped freelancers or small offices. (Lenovo steers the latter toward the ThinkBook line.) It may be worth looking for a deal on a Gen 10 model since the newer processor improves real-world performance only modestly, and it's definitely worth keeping an eye on Lenovo.com's frequent sales and specials. But, if you can get your hands on an X1 Carbon at any price, you're fortunate. It remains the finest all-around laptop available and an Editors' Choice award winner yet again.

Le Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon G11 est le premier modèle de cette gamme à offrir jusqu'à 64 Go de mémoire vive. Pour obtenir cette quantité de mémoire vive, les utilisateurs doivent acheter une version équipée du processeur P28 le plus puissant, le i7-1370P. Malheureusement, comme le montre notre test, ce processeur n'est pas adapté à cet élégant ordinateur portable professionnel.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" de la légende anglaise, novo (latin) pour nouveau) a été fondée en 1984 en tant que société chinoise de commerce d'ordinateurs. En 2004, la société était le plus grand fabricant d'ordinateurs portables en Chine et, après l'acquisition de la division PC d'IBM en 2005, le quatrième au monde. En plus des ordinateurs de bureau et des ordinateurs portables, la société fabrique des moniteurs, des projecteurs, des serveurs, etc., et se spécialise dans le développement, la fabrication et la commercialisation d'électronique grand public, d'ordinateurs personnels, de logiciels, de solutions d'entreprise et de services connexes.
En 2016, l'entreprise s'est classée au premier rang mondial des ventes d'ordinateurs. Il le détenait encore en 2023 avec environ 23% de part de marché mondiale. Les gammes de produits importantes sont Thinkpad, Legion et Ideapad.
En 2011, elle a acquis une participation majoritaire dans Medion AG, un fabricant européen de matériel informatique. En 2014, Motorola Mobility a été racheté, ce qui a donné un coup de pouce à Lenovo sur le marché des smartphones.
Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.
Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs:
Carte graphique intégrée dans les SoCs Intel Tiger Lake G4 basés sur la nouvelle architecture Gen. 12 avec 96 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). La fréquence d'horloge dépend du modèle de processeur. Les puces Tiger Lake sont produites dans le processus moderne 10nm+ chez Intel.

Intel Raptor Lake-U:
i7-1365U: CPU mobile basé sur Alder Lake avec 2 cœurs de performance et 8 cœurs efficaces. Les cœurs de performance offrent un hyper threading, ce qui permet de traiter 12 threads. Le CPU est cadencé entre 1,3 et 5,2 GHz. Le TDP est spécifié à 15 watts.
i7-1355U: L'architecture de l'Alder-Lake est basée sur celle d'un processeur automobile haut de gamme. Il est doté de 2 cellules de performance et de 8 cellules d'efficacité et peut supporter 12 threads en même temps. La puissance maximale du moteur P est de 5 GHz.
Intel Raptor Lake-P:
i7-1370P: Le processeur haut de gamme Alder Lake-P comprend 6 cœurs performants et 8 cœurs efficaces. Cet i7 est conçu pour être utilisé dans des ordinateurs portables ultra-légers ; ses cœurs de performance sont dotés de la technologie Hyper-Threading qui permet de doubler les threads, pour un total de 20 threads. Le processeur tourne à une vitesse maximale de 5,2 GHz et dispose d'un ensemble de fonctions vPro de niveau "Entreprise". Le Core i7-1370P a une puissance de base de 28 W et un iGPU Iris Xe de 96 EU.
