The Lenovo Legion Y540 is a phenomenal laptop in almost every way. My biggest complaints are really just that the webcam is placed underneath the display, and that it's a bit bulky and heavy at just over five pounds. Battery life isn't good, but that's to be expected.

Oui, vous aurez davantage de performances avec une PlayStation 5 ou une Xbox Series X pour un budget similaire avec un écran potable. Vous pourrez aussi obtenir un PC desktop à 800 euros avec de meilleures performances et des caractéristiques similaires. Néanmoins, force est de constater que pour une machine polyvalente et transportable, l’option RTX 2060 avec écran 144 Hz et 512 Go de SSD à un prix de 1000 euros, le Legion Y540 est une solution solide. On regrettera une autonomie un poil légère et une partie sonore trop faible. C’est finalement de petits compromis pour son prix.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" de la légende anglaise, novo (latin) pour nouveau) a été fondée en 1984 en tant que société chinoise de commerce d'ordinateurs. En 2004, la société était le plus grand fabricant d'ordinateurs portables en Chine et, après l'acquisition de la division PC d'IBM en 2005, le quatrième au monde. En plus des ordinateurs de bureau et des ordinateurs portables, la société fabrique des moniteurs, des projecteurs, des serveurs, etc., et se spécialise dans le développement, la fabrication et la commercialisation d'électronique grand public, d'ordinateurs personnels, de logiciels, de solutions d'entreprise et de services connexes.
En 2016, l'entreprise s'est classée au premier rang mondial des ventes d'ordinateurs. Il le détenait encore en 2023 avec environ 23% de part de marché mondiale. Les gammes de produits importantes sont Thinkpad, Legion et Ideapad.
En 2011, elle a acquis une participation majoritaire dans Medion AG, un fabricant européen de matériel informatique. En 2014, Motorola Mobility a été racheté, ce qui a donné un coup de pouce à Lenovo sur le marché des smartphones.
Ces cartes graphiques de milieu de gamme peuvent faire tourner tout les jeux récents de façon fluide. Les jeux gourmands ne peuvent être joués qu'avec les détails réglés sur moyen.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Mobile:
Carte graphique du milieu - haut de gamme pour PC portables, basée sur l'architecture Turing, avec Ray Tracing et 1 920 nuanceurs. La fréquence est réduite par rapport à la carte graphique pour PC de bureau du même nom.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Mobile:
Carte graphique dédiée du milieu de gamme pour PC portables, basée sur la GTX 1660 Ti pour PC de bureau, et de ce fait basée sur l'architecture Turing sans Ray Tracing ni cœurs Tensor. Les performances de la version Max-Q devraient être similaires à celles d'une ancienne GTX 1070.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Mobile:
Carte graphique dédiée du milieu de gamme pour PC portables, basée sur la GTX 1650 pour PC de bureau, et de ce fait basée sur l'architecture Turing (puce TU117 en 12 nm FFN) sans Ray Tracing ni cœurs Tensor.

i5-9300H:
Processeur basé sur l'architecture Coffee Lake, pour les portables gros et lourds. Possède quatre cœurs processeur cadencés entre 2,4 et 4,1 GHz (4 GHz avec 4 cœurs) et avec HyperThreading. Gravé en 14 nm amélioré (14 nm++).
i5-9300HF: Sur l'architecture Coffee Lake, processeur pour ordinateurs portables gros et lourds. Il intègre quatre cœurs de processeur cadencés à 2,4 - 4,1 GHz (4 GHz avec 4 cœurs) qui prennent en charge l'HyperThreading. Fabriqué selon un processus amélioré de 14 nm (14nm++). Par rapport au Core i5-9300H, la carte graphique intégrée dans le 9300HF est désactivée.
