Le Honor Magic 7 Pro repose beaucoup sur les épaules de son excellent prédécesseur de l'année 2024, le Magic 6 Pro. Ce dernier nous avait véritablement séduits, se positionnant comme le premier Honor réellement capable de rivaliser en photographie avec les ténors du marché. Le Magic 7 Pro hérite de ses qualités et les améliore subtilement. Cela commence par le design, plus ergonomique et avec des lignes plus douces, malgré un gabarit imposant. L'écran est de bonne facture, offrant une surface d'affichage plus confortable. Le principal bond en avant se situe au niveau de la puissance, grâce à l'excellent SoC Snapdragon 8 Elite. Rien ne lui résiste : des applications aux jeux les plus gourmands, il les exécute sans effort.

Bien qu'il n'ait pas grand-chose à envier à la concurrence, on regrette l'absence d'un téléobjectif x5 ainsi que l'achat nécessaire d'un chargeur compatible pour profiter de la pleine puissance de charge du téléphone. Pour le reste, notre avis sur le Honor Magic 7 Pro est plus que positif et nous vous le conseillons chaudement, si vous n'avez pas déjà un Magic 6 Pro.

Elles seront d’autant plus à l’aise qu’il dispose de 12 Go de RAM et de 512 Go de stockage. L’aspect photographique est une véritable réussite. On apprécie le travail effectué par le constructeur sur son téléobjectif périscopique qui produit de belles images. Honor propose une solution originale afin d’améliorer le rendu des images prises entre 30x et 100x. Baptisée AI Super Zoom, elle n’est pas parfaite, mais produit la plupart du temps des résultats convaincants.

La partie photo, avec son capteur principal de 50 mégapixels et son téléobjectif de 200 mégapixels, offre une polyvalence particulièrement remarquable. L'autonomie, malgré une batterie plus petite que la concurrence, reste convaincante grâce à une excellente optimisation. La charge 100W compense largement ce petit défaut. Le design épuré et la qualité de fabrication sont au rendez-vous, tandis que MagicOS 9.0 a gagné en maturité. À 1299 euros, le Magic7 Pro se positionne face aux ténors du marché avec des arguments très solides. Malgré quelques compromis sur la capacité de la batterie et l'absence de chargeur, il offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix pour qui recherche un smartphone premium complet et endurant. Cerise sur le gâteau, il hérite cette année de nombreuses fonctionnalités boostées à l’IA, nerf de la guerre en 2025. À 1 299,90 euros, le Honor Magic7 Pro est donc un smartphone premium tout à fait recommandable, à condition de ne pas déjà posséder un smartphone premium de moins de 3 ou 4 ans. Le peu d’améliorations apportées durant les cinq dernières années interroge sérieusement sur le rythme de sortie annuel. Honor has crafted an incredibly compelling smartphone in the Magic 7 Pro. The device's hardware is stellar, its camera system is reasonably performant, and its processing power and battery life are both rock solid. I'm less fond of the company's MagicOS Android skin from a UX perspective, but the company's commitment to updates and security patches is a big win. The various AI tools are rather hit or miss, and the lack of Qi2 charging magnets is a real shame, but the package is otherwise excellent. If you happen to live outside the US, then the Honor Magic 7 Pro is a great choice that's worthy of consideration. Honor has crafted an incredibly compelling smartphone in the Magic 7 Pro. The device's hardware is stellar, its camera system is reasonably performant, and its processing power and battery life are both rock solid. I'm less fond of the company's MagicOS Android skin from a UX perspective, but the company's commitment to updates and security patches is a big win. The various AI tools are rather hit or miss, and the lack of Qi2 charging magnets is a real shame, but the package is otherwise excellent. If you happen to live outside the US, then the Honor Magic 7 Pro is a great choice that's worthy of consideration. The device deserves to stand alongside the best flagship Android phones, and in some cases, it even manages to best the competition outright.

If you’re in the market for a smartphone with the latest camera tech, and the latest AI features, as well as (currently) the fastest Qualcomm processor ever made, which runs at a whopping 4.3GHz, then the Honor Magic7 Pro ticks a LOT of boxes, and you can get a lot of very good results from the cameras on the phone. However, if you want a perfect phone, this is not it. Which is a real shame, as I’m a big fan of using telephoto cameras on phones, but I’m left wishing this one was better. I’m hopeful that software updates can fix some of the softness and colour issues I experienced with the telephoto camera on the phone. However, it’s the shiny chrome finish around the camera lens that is a huge issue when you’re taking photos of anything reflective, such as through glass, as these will end up being captured in your photos on bright sunny days, and if you’re using the phone for video work, then you’ll probably want to cover this in a completely black case.

But unless I was gaming for hours, I could easily get a day to 1.5 days of use before having to charge the phone. The Magic7 Pro does a lot of things right - to the high standard you'd expect from a top-shelf model - and it also manages to stand out in a couple of ways worth mentioning. At least two of them can be found in the pill-shaped cutout in the display - the selfie camera and the 3D face scanning bits that you can't get on all that many Androids. The unusually loud speakers are also possibly a selling point. Honor's approach to zoomed in photos starts off promisingly with a sizable sensor, but is a bit of letdown in practice because of the added digital magnification. The smaller battery capacity for Europe-bound units is also a questionable development and one that is preventing the Magic7 Pro from achieving its full potential. In the end, the Magic7 Pro isn't bringing us the level of camera excitement we hoped it would (and the level it just should be able to attain with its hardware). It's also not a significant enough update to the otherwise pretty appealing 2024 model.

One thing that I love about this phone is the face unlock. It is unlike anything I have previously used. HONOR says in its documentation that it uses 3D Face Recognition, and it really shows. When I pick the phone up, it immediately unlocks, so I only have to swipe from the lock screen. I literally cannot fault it. It seems like it does not require you to point your face to the screen at all for it to recognize you and unlock; it is just super fast. The same can be said of the fingerprint sensor; it is quick.

At least two of them can be found in the pill-shaped cutout in the display - the selfie camera and the 3D face scanning bits that you can't get on all that many Androids. The unusually loud speakers are also possibly a selling point. Honor's approach to zoomed in photos starts off promisingly with a sizable sensor, but is a bit of letdown in practice because of the added digital magnification. The smaller battery capacity for Europe-bound units is also a questionable development and one that is preventing the Magic7 Pro from achieving its full potential. In the end, the Magic7 Pro isn't bringing us the level of camera excitement we hoped it would (and the level it just should be able to attain with its hardware). It's also not a significant enough update to the otherwise pretty appealing 2024 model.

One thing that I love about this phone is the face unlock. It is unlike anything I have previously used. HONOR says in its documentation that it uses 3D Face Recognition, and it really shows. When I pick the phone up, it immediately unlocks, so I only have to swipe from the lock screen. I literally cannot fault it. It seems like it does not require you to point your face to the screen at all for it to recognize you and unlock; it is just super fast. The same can be said of the fingerprint sensor; it is quick.

The Magic 7 Pro doesn’t leave you wanting for much. It has flagship performance, supermodel good looks, and features you won’t find on many Android rivals, like secure facial recognition. I wish battery life was just a little bit better, and Honor needs to commit to more years of updates if it wants to match Google or Samsung, but you’re otherwise getting an awful lot of phone for your cash. I was blown away by its photographic ability at times, with all three rear lenses really packing in detail and having no trouble capturing moving subjects. I wasn’t so sold on the AI super zoom or how it artificially inserted sun flares, and thought colour consistency between lenses could use some work, but there’s no denying the results can look particularly pleasing.

The Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design smartphone provides everything that a flagship phone should and then some more. For starters, it has an incredible design and build quality, which lives up to the name of the smartphone. The display is equally impressive with great color reproduction and extremely high brightness. Essentially, you will have an amazing viewing experience on this screen. The phone also has a decent Android chipset and will run every game at the highest graphical fidelity. The battery and charging speeds are also equally impressive. However, the best part of this phone is its camera performance, which is extremely good and can go toe to toe with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. On top of these things, the Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design’s 5G performance is extremely good.

À l'issue de notre test du Honor Magic7 Lite, force est de constater qu'il s'agit d'un excellent smartphone. Le constructeur a gommé la majorité des défauts que nous relevions sur la précédente version, rendant ainsi une copie proche de la perfection, et ce tout en réduisant même un peu son prix au passage (!). Nous avons spécialement été soufflés par l'autonomie d'un appareil de milieu de gamme solide qui n'a pas à rougir face au haut de gamme dans plusieurs domaines, dont l'écran, véritablement réussi.

Résistant, autonome et avec des mises à jour jusqu'en 2031... C'est l'intitulé d'un succès annoncé ! Oui, si l'on s'arrête là. Le Magic 7 Lite est vendu moins de 400 euros, on peut donc être un peu magnanime. Néanmoins, le marché évolue et la concurrence rôde. Et en sortant un smarpthone avec le même SoC et le même volet photo que l'an dernier, Honor ne s'aide pas. Son écran aurait aussi mérité un peu plus de soin. Ne voyons pas tout noir, dans son ensemble, le Magic 7 Lite est un bon smartphone qui nous a plu, on aurait juste aimé avoir un appareil totalement renouvelé.

In a few ways, the Honor Magic 7 Lite doesn’t make any meaningful progress over its predecessor. The entry-grade chipset is unchanged, the firm’s software upgrade commitments still lag behind rival brands, and now the styling feels that much more out of step with the rest of the phone world. It’s not all bad though. Some might argue the rear cameras have gone backwards by dropping the third snapper, but the Magic 6 Lite’s macro lens was a token inclusion at best, and adding optical image stabilisation has upped the Magic 7 Lite’s night-time performance among affordable rivals. This is also a much tougher handset, which will be great news for accident-prone shoppers. Ultimately you’ll buy the Magic 7 Lite for its colossal battery; there’s simply no other affordable option out there with such a high capacity. If you’re after a long-lasting handset that doesn’t look like an actual brick, you’ll be able to forgive the limited generational upgrades everywhere else.

Honor:

Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.

Qualcomm Adreno 830: Unité graphique intégrée dans le SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite pour smartphones avec trois tranches de 1,1 GHz chacune. Cache partagé intégré de 12 Mo pour les trois tranches. Selon Qualcomm, 40% plus rapide que la génération précédente (Adreno 750).

La plupart des jeux pas trop demandants actuels peuvent tourner de façon fluide. soyez prêts à endurer un rendu graphique assez moche à cause de la basse résolution et des détails au minimum. Par ailleurs ces cartes sont suffisantes pour un travail de bureau et le visionnage de vidéos (pas évident pour la vidéo HD).
