The EliteBook 640 G9 is very similar to the more expensive EliteBook 840 G9, with great build quality, keyboard, and upgradeability. While it lacks the extra pixels that the 16:10 aspect ratio offers, you’d be more than fine with the FHD panel that’s available. All in all, you get a good-performing notebook with good connectivity and features for a reduced price, which is all you can ask for.

EN→FRSpeaking of graphics, you can get the machine with a GeForce MX570. We haven’t had it in our configuration, but we’ve tested it on other devices, and let us tell you – it is crazy good. While this device features a good port selection, it still lacks an SD card slot. LTE is on the table, however, with 5G reserved for the more expensive EliteBook 840 G9. Without a doubt, the 840 G9 is a higher quality product than the 640 G9. However, the more affordable device really puts in a fight and comes up on top on occasions. And if you want great value, check out the Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 4.

The Intel XMM 7560R supports LTE-Advanced Pro with Cat 16, which theoretically enables up to 1 Gbit/s in download. The business notebook also offers the latest standard fare from a technical perspective, with a long 36-month warranty as a bonus for professional users.

EN→FRThe HP EliteBook 640 G10 is a business device that can attract future buyers with its good comfort under load and capable cooling solution that allows high CPU frequencies even during max processor stress. The keyboard is also suitable for countless hours of typing because of the long key travel and the clicky feedback. The metal chassis feels premium to the touch but its overall solidness isn’t the best we’ve seen. The 16:9 1080p IPS display (LG Display LGD0724) is all you need for normal work. It offers wide viewing angles and there is no sign of PWM usage so you can use the laptop for prolonged periods of work without sensing eye strain (you have to take regular breaks from time to time). However, the panel color coverage and maximum brightness are unimpressive. The upgradability is surprisingly good for a 14-incher – two DDR4 SODIMMs for up to 64GB RAM and two M.2 slots.

EN→FRIt’s nice to see that the HP EliteBook 640 G11 offers almost the same performance as its bigger 16-inch 660 G11 sibling. In short loads, the Core Ultra 7 155U maintains a 3.82 GHz / 3.12 GHz P and E-core frequency which is impressive given the cooling solution with one fan and a single heat pipe. In the long run, the result is ~ 2.70 GHz / 2.40 GHz. That’s more than enough for a snappy performance. Speaking of which, the SSD of our laptop (1TB KIOXIA KXG80ZNV1T02) is fast but it gets toasty if you torture it with long sustained write loads. The 1200p touchscreen (AUOB9AC) has wide viewing angles and 315 nits of max brightness. Still, the sRGB coverage and the color accuracy don’t impress. HP states that some of the other optional panels for this series cover fully the sRGB gamut.

Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.
Intel Iris Xe G7 80EUs:
Carte graphique intégrée dans les SoCs Intel Tiger Lake G7 basés sur la nouvelle architecture Gen. 12 avec 80 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). La fréquence d'horloge dépend du modèle de processeur. Les puces Tiger Lake sont produites dans le processus moderne 10nm+ chez Intel.
Intel Graphics 4-Core: Carte graphique intégrée basée sur l'architecture Xe LPG (similaire aux GPU Arc dédiés, mais avec un accent sur l'efficacité). Fournit 4 cœurs Xe (64 moteurs vectoriels Xe) et 4 unités de traçage de rayon.

i5-1235U:
Un processeur mobile basé sur Alder-Lake avec 2 cœurs de performance et 8 cœurs efficaces. Les cœurs de performance offrent un hyper threading, ce qui permet de traiter 12 threads. Le CPU tourne à des fréquences allant de 0,9 à 4,4 GHz. Le TDP est spécifié à 15 Watt.
Intel Raptor Lake-U:
i5-1335U: CPU mobile basé sur Alder Lake avec 2 cœurs de performance et 8 cœurs efficaces. Les cœurs de performance offrent un hyper threading, ce qui permet de traiter 12 threads. La fréquence du processeur varie de 0,9 à 4,6 GHz. Le TDP est spécifié à 15 watts.
Intel Meteor Lake-U:
Ultra 7 155U: Une puce Meteor Lake de milieu de gamme qui a fait ses débuts en décembre 2023. Ce processeur Core Ultra de 1ère génération est venu remplacer les processeurs Core de 13ème génération ; il dispose de 12 cœurs (2 + 8 + 2) et de 14 threads. Ses cœurs Performance, au nombre de 2, tournent jusqu'à 4,8 GHz tandis que ses cœurs Efficient, au nombre de 10 (8 cœurs principaux plus 2 supplémentaires trouvés dans le Low Power Island) tournent jusqu'à 3,8 GHz. L'Intel Arc Graphics à 4 cœurs, tout juste sorti du four, sert d'adaptateur graphique intégré - il fonctionne jusqu'à 1,95 GHz - et une foule d'autres technologies flambant neuves sont également proposées, notamment le NPU AI Boost intégré avec deux moteurs Gen 3 pour l'accélération matérielle des charges de travail d'IA. La consommation de base de ce processeur pour ordinateur portable est de 15 W, la consommation maximale recommandée par Intel pour le Turbo étant de 57 W.
