If you are looking for a cheaper iPhone, iPhone 11 is cheaper compared to previous iterations and definitely a lot cheaper in the iPhone 11 series. Overall, I wouldn’t mind recommending iPhone 11 to the masses. It does have some shortcomings although it is still an iPhone, and it comes with the best-in-class design, performance, software, and camera which makes up for the lows you get with iPhone 11.

The iPhone 11 - the successor to the iPhone XR - has gone from secondary handset to firmly taking the limelight. Offering most of the top-end camera technology of the powerful iPhone 11 Pro, it packs good spec and manages to do so for a lower cost than many would expect - this is the one to go for if you want a good value new iPhone.

iPhone 11 levels up the popular iPhone XR from the previous year, adding better battery, an extra camera and better internal specs. The new features make for an iPhone that addresses many consumer qualms and doesn’t have many faults.

The regular version of the iPhone 11 offers a similar audio experience as the higher-end iPhone 11 Pro Max, and is a solid performer across all our technical categories and use cases. It is a good choice for recording any type of concert. Artifacts are very well controlled, and the overall audio is very clean. Occlusion is also well managed, especially in selfie and life videos; the only problem area for occlusion was in the memo app.

The iPhone 11 Pro models have some excellent features and they are fantastic devices if you can afford them, but the iPhone 11 is the iPhone for the masses that delivers on all fronts for a great price compared to the Pro models and other flagship devices out there.

All in all, the telephoto lens is useful on the 11 Pro, but I didn't miss having it when I used the 11. If I needed to zoom in on a photo, a 2x crop of a photo I took with the main camera worked fine. I do recommend looking at the photos you have on your current phone and see how many were taken zoomed in and how many photos would look better had you been able to zoom in a bit. If you have a lot of pictures where you wished you had a dedicated telephoto camera, then you should consider an iPhone 11 Pro.

Overall, the Apple iPhone 11 is a capable option for selfie shooters, with its front camera delivering nice colors and good exposure in most situations. On the downside, image output can be quite noisy and the fixed-focus lens, which is geared towards closer focusing distances, means the camera is not ideal for users who work with longer selfie sticks or who shoot a lot of group selfies. But the focus issue is the only real disadvantage when compared to the iPhone 11 Pro Max, so if you mainly care about the front camera and tend to capture most of your selfies at close distance, the less-expensive iPhone 11 is a real alternative to its pricey top-end sister model.

When you first hear the names of Apple's new iPhones -- the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max -- you may have some questions. Where's the iPhone X? And what makes the iPhone Pro... Pro? What happened to last year's XS and XS Max? This year's new phones are polished sequels (literally and figuratively) to the three we got last year. For some people the iPhone 11 just needs to be better than the XS. And it indeed is. But for others, it's nice to know where Apple stands in the larger landscape of phones. There are wild 5G speeds on the horizon, plus bizarre and expensive foldable phones like Samsung's Galaxy Fold. And then there's the more expensive $799 (£669, AU$1,049) Google Pixel 4, which actually makes the $699 (£729, AU$1,199) iPhone 11 look like an even better value.

Between the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro, it may be difficult to figure out which one you should get. Both phones have the same processor, same main, ultrawide and selfie cameras, and run iOS 13. On one hand, the iPhone 11 represents one of the best values for a flagship phone you can buy today, and has many of the same 11 Pro features. On the other hand, the iPhone 11 Pro has a few key additions that make it the best iPhone ever made. At $999 (£1,049, AU$1,749), it also starts at $300 more than the iPhone 11.

It has been a few months since Apple launched the iPhones. And the iPhone that has been making the most noise and sales, is the iPhone 11. Some are attributing this success of the phone to the surprisingly low price tag but is that really all to the iPhone 11? A relatively lighter price tag? Check our FAQ based on long term usage to find out.

The high price tag of flagship iPhones means that people who are wedded to the Apple eco-system and looking for an upgrade might be attracted to the more pocket-friendly iPhone 11. If photography is an important factor in that choice, the good news is that by and large the less-expensive device lives up to the excellent all-round image quality of the iPhone 11 Pro Max. Without a dedicated 3rd tele-lens camera, however, it isn’t nearly as good for zoom shots; and Portrait mode shots are less successful due to the wider focal length they have to be captured with. With video performance also on par between the standard iPhone 11 and the Pro alternatives, however, it’s only the disadvantages for zoom that count against the more economical model.

After three months of usage, there is actually very little to complain about the iPhone 11. Simple minimalist design, great camera capabilities, and powerful performance in gaming and battery. If I had to nitpick, that'd be the fish-eye effect on the ultra-wide lens but that only occurs on close range and of course, the starting price of RM3399 for just the 64GB model.

Apple had a winner with the iPhone XR, and while its follow-up doesn't have to rewrite the book on mobile phones, it needs to do enough to be a worthy heir to the throne. The new iPhone 11 is up to the task, with compelling changes to the camera that will have even users of the year-old iPhone XR seriously consider upgrading.

If you have an iPhone XR, the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro Max are both worthy upgrades. The situation is a little less clear with the iPhone XS and XS Max because these two phones are still very powerful phones with excellent displays, cameras, and video recording capabilities. My recommendation would be to upgrade from iPhone XS and XS Max only if Night Mode is important to you. The extra performance, support for Wi-Fi 6, higher durability are all nice, but Night Mode is the single biggest and most enticing new feature for me. The only other reasons why you might want a Pro iPhone is if you prefer the sizes (the iPhone 11 is the smallest in the lineup and the iPhone 11 Pro Max is the largest) or if you need the 512GB of internal storage.

The only areas where it falls a little short are the lack of HDR screen for movies, and that there’s no zoom lens at all, so you don’t get the same flexibility as the iPhone 11 Pro (or the slightly more expensive Huawei P30 Pro).

See, this is no iPhone 11 Pro. The display is not as great, and you’re not getting a telephoto camera.. But if you think about it, that’s it. You get better battery life than on the small 11 Pro, and I feel those two features missing are not worth $300. Bottom line of our iPhone 11 review, this is the iPhone I recommend to everyone right now. I do feel it’s got the right amount of everything. I’d say that it’s worth giving this a try first, and if you’re not happy, then return it and try the Pro.

The most affordable iPhone this year is perfectly good for majority of people (who can afford it). The Pro variant offers an OLED display and adds a third camera at the back that offers optical zoom, and as such, a little more flexibility to the camera. If you can live without them, the iPhone 11 is more than enough. It’s also a great entry-point into Apple’s ecosystem considering the Rs 64,900 price-tag of the 64GB variant is near the same as the OnePlus 7T Pro, Samsung Galaxy S10e or the Galaxy Note 10. With the Google Pixel 4 not releasing in India and Huawei’s flagship Mate 30 Pro missing out on Google services, the iPhone 11 has a clear advantage this year.

If you’d like to move on from Android, even if temporarily, I’d recommend you buy the cheaper XR – it’s a large-screen Apple device refreshed with the iOS13 upgrade. iPhone photographers (they are a thing) have a good incentive to buy the iPhone 11, if the 11 Pro seems too expensive. If money is not a concern for casual Apple users upgrading from the smaller iPhone 6 or 8, or larger 6 Plus or 8 Plus, the new iPhone 11 is a more future-ready choice with its A13 chip, Wi-Fi 6, a better camera and tougher glass on both sides. For everyone else, the XR, at its current price, is the value buy. There’s a difference between the two – get the 11 only if you can spot it.

The iPhone 11 isn't as impressive as the Pro series, but it comes very close and is a much better value. A great camera, solid battery life, and flagship-class performance make the iPhone 11 an obvious choice for Apple fans. For Android users, it shows that Apple is finally coming close to making an affordable flagship killer, but it ultimately offers little to sway Android users away.

The Pro models, on the other hand, I feel are proper and worthwhile generational upgrades. Users coming from an iPhone 8 (Plus) or earlier models can now upgrade to the new Pro models without having to worry about taking a hit to battery life. Meanwhile performance is self-explanatory, and the camera upgrades are very solid, albeit the wide-angle has some definite weaknesses. Still, the phones feel like very strong devices which notably improve upon the fundamentals, showing that even 12 years after the first iPhone, Apple is still capable of delivering meaningful upgrades to their high-end smartphones.

You're coming from an iPhone X, XS or XR. If you're on the XS or XR, the 11 isn't worth an upgrade. If you're coming from a X, the 11 is functionally an upgrade, especially in the camera department, but you'll immediately notice the compromised design and display tech and the compromises will drive you mad. If you're on a X, save up for the 11 Pro or wait till the 11s comes out next year.

After some of the gut-wrenching price tags from Apple over the years, the 11 has a pretty decent price-point of under ₹70,000. But don’t think of this model as Apple’s ‘budget 11 series model’; it still packs a punch. The Pro and the under-mentioned Pro Max are the burlier siblings, offering a more immersive experience for filmmakers and gamers if Arcade’s caught their eye. But if we’re getting into universal gaming on its own, the OnePlus 7 and the ASUS ROG Phone II have pushed the envelope here.

iPhone 11 comes with some obvious spoilers. Yes, it is the iPhone to buy for most consumers. Yes, it isn't the perfect iPhone and it does come with some glaring flaws. But if you can ignore them, then the iPhone 11 is as good as it gets. The biggest improvement comes to the cameras, and that alone is worth the upgrade if you're coming from an older iPhone.

If you’re coming from an iPhone 8 or 8 Plus or older, you’re going to get significant upgrades, especially in the performance, cameras, battery life, Face ID technology, software features, and design. If you’re coming from the X or XS series, you’re not getting much in terms of innovation, especially in the design part. It still has a wide notch and a Lightning port. Were I the owner of an iPhone X or earlier, the iPhone 11 would be looking seriously appealing right now. Far more affordable than the iPhone 11 Pro, you still get two cameras, Night Mode, and noticeable performance and battery improvements. Apple has some aggressive trade-in deals, too, which take the edge off the $699+ price tag even more. My suggestion would be to spend $50 extra and at least upgrade to the 128 GB model, since the cheapest iPhone 11 looks a little miserly with just 64 GB.

The iPhone 11 delivers a great point-and-shoot camera (which is an improvement on the XR), runs off the same processor as the premium Pro and Pro Max and delivers solid battery life. Add the fact it produces a wonderfully rounded picture with sensational sound and the iPhone 11 is a superb all-rounder. If you want value for money combined with a good breadth of ability, it’s actually a bit of a no brainer.

The iPhone 11 is indeed a good phone, but it is not quite great. Its display is pretty, but it is not as good-looking as the OLEDs we’ve been spoiled by; its battery life is solid, but it leaves you longing for more; the bundled charger is okay for charging overnight, but it urges you to get the faster one. I have the odd feeling that the iPhone 11 has been subconsciously pushing me towards the more expensive iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max, both of which have better displays, better battery life, and more versatile cameras.

For what it's worth, I think 2020 is going to be a big year for iPhones. Next year's models will probably have 5G, they may be associated with some sort of AR glasses, and they'll almost certainly have a new design. That isn't to say you should keep pumping the bellows on a creaking, dying, shattered iPhone 6. But if you're waiting to be wowed, I think you'll be waiting another year.

It’s been a while since the term value-for-money was associated with an iPhone. We began the review with absurdities and would like to end with one as well. So, as absurd as it may sound the iPhone 11 is a value-for-money, bang for the buck — whatever you want to call it — smartphone of the year. And yes, we are including the premium Android smartphones in this as well. The simple reason being that no other Android phone brings the aspirational value an iPhone does along with a stellar processor, excellent cameras and a long-lasting battery.

There's a lot to like about the iPhone 11. In fact, apart from the relatively low-resolution display — which most people won't notice — and the ridiculously slow bundled charger — which everyone will definitely notice — there's very little that we can find fault with that's specific to this phone. Night Mode is an extremely useful addition, and the Camera app has useful touches that are typical of Apple. The Ultra Wide camera will come in handy as well.

The iPhone 11 is a very thoughtful upgrade over the XR. It has everything new from Apple, but it costs less, and the tradeoffs seem to be just right. We aren't saying you should jump from XR on this one without thinking twice, but once again Apple has made just enough upgrades to make you want to do so. And we won't judge you for that.

This is all about the balance. The balance of cutting back features to make it over £300 quid cheaper than the iPhone 11 Pro, but without making it feel anything other than a high-quality Apple product. And the short answer is Apple has balanced better than Simone Biles. It feels like a top-tier handset in almost every way, from the build quality in your hand to the camera quality to the sheer slickness of using iOS. The only areas where it falls a little short are the lack of HDR screen for movies, and that there’s no zoom lens at all, so you don’t get the same flexibility as the iPhone 11 Pro (or the slightly more expensive Huawei P30 Pro). In every other way, this is a massively impressive phone, and is the iPhone that most people should buy this year.

The iPhone 11 delivers the minimum you’d expect from a flagship Apple handset, including supreme performance, while offering surprises in the form of a much stronger battery and a more affordable price tag. A handful of pitfalls and a lack of innovation detract from an otherwise delightful smartphone that offers something for everyone.

The iPhone XR was one of Apple’s most popular phones and I can’t see any reason why the iPhone 11 won’t be just as successful. Apple has seen what most people want and instead of making this seem like a cheaper version of the true flagship it has given it the full iPhone 11 name. Unless you’re a complete sucker for an OLED display, or particularly want the zoomed telephoto lens, then there isn’t much you’re missing out on by not getting the Pro model. Especially when you consider the over £300/$300 saving you’re making by going for this version. If you’re coming from an iPhone XR you might want to wait a year and see what the 2020 iPhone brings. However, if you’re updating an older iPhone then you’ll notice the vast array of improvements to camera, battery life and overall design straight away.

If you couldn't tell, I think the standard iPhone 11 has everything you'd need for the price, except for that telephoto lens. Whether or not that extra camera lens, an extra boost of battery life, a more vivid OLED display and stainless steel body add up to a worthwhile $300 upgrade depends on how much you value those features.

Like the iPhone XR before it, the iPhone 11 is the iPhone I'd recommend to most people. And not just to existing iPhone owners — anyone looking for top-notch cameras should consider this handset, especially because of Apple's aggressive $699 price. Based on our testing, the iPhone 11 can now hang with or beat the best cameras from Google and Samsung.

The best feature of this new iPhone is the price, though. At Rs 64,900 in India, this phone is way cheaper than what the iPhone XR was when it launched. Add a few deals and you might get it for even less. A brand new iPhone — still a very aspirational brand in India — selling at a price point below Rs 60,000 could be the start of something big for Apple, especially just ahead of the holiday season. For a lot of India’s looking to pick up an affordable iPhone — in other words, an older model — the iPhone 11 might offer the option to be more current.

I’m replacing an iPhone XS Max with the iPhone 11 and am completely pleased with change. As someone in the iPhone Upgrade Program, I pay a monthly fee for my device, and choosing a cheaper model saves me $200 over the next year. If I can move from Apple’s most powerful 2018 handset to the iPhone 11 and be happy, I believe anyone will be thrilled at upgrading from an iPhone 7, 7 Plus, or anything older.

iPhones last a long time because of Apple’s lengthy software support. Expect the iPhone 11 to last you three to four years, if not more. When the battery starts to degrade, you can take it to certified Apple technicians to get it replaced and the phone will feel as good as new.

Every year people ask me if it's time for them to finally upgrade their old iPhones. And my answer is usually the same. If you bought last year's model, stick with it. If you've got something older, then go for the new one. That's largely my advice this time around too, with a caveat. The iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max are still great phones. But, if you're the kind of person who loves taking photos with their phone, then it's worth considering making the jump to the iPhone 11 line. As far as which of the three you should buy, that comes down to what you're looking for. If you want the best value, the iPhone 11 is pound for pound, your best option. It has the same processor as the Pros and can capture low-light photos. The iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max, however, offer that sweet telephoto lens, better battery life, and gorgeous displays. If money is no object, I've got to recommend the iPhone 11 Pro.

The iPhone 11 series, with its wide-angle camera, gives a completely new take on what smartphone photography can achieve. Even as its cameras in general get better, it seems to be way ahead of competition when it comes to how the camera fuses with the powerful processor to do what other phones cannot. Some of this is magic, and hence is not really in the realm of realism, as we see with night mode where the images are way better than what the human eye can see. As this union of sensor and processor progresses and as the AI learns more about the kind of photos that are being clicked we will see the results get better, with more details and subtleties which are otherwise smudged on smartphone cameras.

As always, Apple’s new iPhone 11 range is decidedly expensive. The top of the line iPhone 11 Max Pro starts at $1099 for the base model, while the entry-level iPhone XR replacement, the iPhone 11, starts at $699. Once again, the iPhone 11 delivers the most value for money here. It has an excellent, updated camera. The same CPU as the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max and, best of all, it is cheaper than last year’s iPhone XR, Apple’s best-selling iPhone.

The iPhone 11 is currently available for pre-order. It will hit the shelves of the Apple store, as well as all major wireless carriers on September 20. You can spec the iPhone 11 with up to 256 GB of onboard storage. Upgrading the entry-level 64 GB variant to one with 128 GB costs only $50 extra, and I strongly suggest that you opt for it. The iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max offer the best that Apple is capable of right now, but we're still left with an important question: Do you actually need everything on offer here? Certain changes, like improved battery life and the more flexible triple cameras, are updates everyone can enjoy. For almost everything else, though, the differences in actual day-to-day use can be so subtle that you'd be hard-pressed to really notice them.

So, is it worth upgrading to the iPhone 11? If you’ve got an iPhone older than the XR and you’re looking to upgrade, I think the answer is yes. The camera is substantially improved, and you will get vastly better battery life than anything aside from a XR. That’s what most people care about, and Apple has really delivered here. I’d only spend the extra money on the iPhone 11 Pro if you really care about the display. I don’t think you’re missing out on much by not having a telephoto camera lens, to be honest. I personally care quite a bit about displays, so I’m getting a Pro, but I think most people will be very happy with the iPhone 11.

It’s clever, but there’s no way for reviewers to repeat and verify that test. So the best I can tell you is that Apple has historically been good about meeting its battery life claims, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max I’ve been using every day for a week has consistently run for 12 to 14 hours on a single charge, with over 10 hours of screen-on time reported in the battery settings per 24-hour period.

Unless you're the type of person who needs the very best iPhone out there every year, Apple's iPhone 11 is the 2019 Apple smartphone that makes the most sense for the average Apple user. It features a more powerful processor, two new flashy colours, but unfortunately, it isn't that significant of an upgrade over the iPhone XR. It's also difficult to ignore the fact that the phone still features ageing LCD technology, though again, this phone's intended audience likely won't care. The phone packs all of the key features most people will care about Similar to the iPhone XR, the iPhone 11 is the Apple phone to buy this year despite its shortcomings. The 6.1-inch iPhone 11 starts at $979 CAD for the 64GB version, the 128GB sports a $1,049 price tag and lastly the 256GB variant costs $1,189.

Ultrawide angle = drama cameraI do not know what number of instances I’ll find yourself utilizing the ultrawide-angle lens, as a result of it truly is broad. You assume you perceive how far again ultrawide goes, and then you definately see your house by way of the digital camera lens and it is a bizarre, warped universe. Without a doubt, it may possibly make for beautiful photographs. Ultrawide cameras are one other new development throughout cellphone cameras. Apple guarantees a number of additional advantages right here. The iPhone 11 will get an improved ultrawide-angle Portrait mode that may work with close-ups of your pets and different issues. All the telephones get an expanded-view viewfinder that now previews what’s exterior the shot, which might help when to make use of the ultrawide lens.

Of course, there are numerous others things that I don’t have time to get into here such as support for Wi-Fi 6, faster Face ID, longer battery life, and more. That will all have to wait until the full review so stay tuned right here. But for now, the iPhone 11 looks like a formidable update to last year’s iPhone XR. An additional camera is always welcomed as is a faster processor, and then there’s a host of other little tiny updates, and not to mention the fact that it has a lower launch price.

Despite a lot of upgrades, the new iPhone 11 series can’t give people the feeling of “fisting to the flesh” on the Android flagship as in the past. What is missing? As you may know, no 5G may become a hurdle for Apple to regain sales this year. 5G is always in turmoil, and the iPhone has no fear. Can this year’s iPhone 11 series retain people’s preference on the eve of 5G? I believe that sales will tell us the answer soon. For a new iPhone, on Suning! As expected, Apple announced three new iPhone models at a special event at the Steve Jobs Theater on Tuesday. The most affordable of the trio is the new iPhone 11, the spiritual successor to last year's iPhone XR₹ 58,490. The iPhone XR was seen by some as the iPhone to get if you couldn't afford the iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max₹ 107,099 — instead of the great entry-level flagship iPhone that it was — so the rebranding should help Apple establish the iPhone 11's rightful place in the 2019 iPhone lineup as the “default new iPhone for most people”.

Apple's iPhone 11 Pro with its triple-lens camera array dazzled the filmmakers in the audience at its Sept. 10 event, but you don't need to plunk down $1,000 for an iPhone with neat photography tricks. Apple's base-model iPhone 11, an upgrade from last year's iPhone XR, starts at $699 and offers the same night mode, slow-motion selfies and ultra-wide-angle landscape shots that the $1,099 iPhone 11 Pro does for $400 less — and it comes in more fun colors.

Commentaire
Apple A13 Bionic GPU:
