Le nouveau Core i7-10700K ne se démarque vraiment de l'Intel Core i7-9700K que dans les tests multithread. Dans les tests monocoeur, il est du même niveau, et l'AMD Ryzen 9 3900X également. Celui-ci, avec ses 12 coeurs, se place premier dans les tests multicoeur. Le Core i9-10900K fait mieux, d'environ 10 % par rapport au Core i7-10700K.

Économe au ralenti, gourmand en cas de sollicitations ! La cible (PL1) est de 125 W, soit une hausse de 30 W face au Core i7-9700K. La consommation maximale (PL2) monte aussi, à 229 W. Et la valeur tau du PL2 augmente du double, si bien que la consommation élevée peut maintenant durer 56 secondes. Cela nécessite également un meilleur système de refroidissement...
Dans nos tests, la consommation de l'Intel Core i7-10700K est comparable à celle d'un AMD Ryzen 9 3900X - un différence de 7 W en faveur d'Intel dans la boucle Cinebench R15 multi.
