Le Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 était un CPU de début de haut de gamme à sa sortie. Il est proche du Core 2 Duo T9400 mais avec un FSB plus bas.

Avec un fréquence élevée et les 6Mo de cache de niveau 2, Le T9300 est assez puisant pour les jeux de 2009.

Le T9300 est de la génération Penryn (Montevina) avec 2 unités intégrées, 1 unité de calcul à virgule flottante, 1 unité de chargement, et 1 store unit avec un pipeline à 14 étapes. Grâce au Wide Dynamic Execution Technology, qui permet l'usage de 4 coeurs.

Le Enhanced Speedstep baisse la fréquence pour économiser de l'énergie.
