Le Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 était à sa sortie un puissant dual core avec 3 Mo de cache de niveau 2 cache. Il est basé sur la plateforme Penryn avec toutes ses caractéristiques (sans le cache de 6Mo). Le Core 2 Duo P7450 sortit plus tard était moins cher consommais moins, pour la même puissance.
